My Self-Summary

I've spent the last couple of days (or weeks more like) contemplating things and although I'm pretty happy with life right now I still yearn for something more.

Hmmm me...me...this isn't that easy is it?
I guess people see me as the geeky, quiet type...and they'd be right! I tend to get a bit lost in my own thoughts and can be found day dreaming or zoning out (especially when I'm at work).

What I’m doing with my life

Right now I feel a bit stuck in my job. It is not what I ever saw myself doing when I was younger and thinking about the future. I've been doing it for 3 years now and I'm kinda just drifting along and need a change! Unfortunately I don't know what that change should be yet.
Outside of work, I'm the happiest I've been socially for a long time - good friends, fun times etc! It's been a really great summer which I'm dragging out for as long as possible.

I’m really good at

I've never been much of a self promoter but I know that I'm a decent person when it comes down to the basics. I like to think I can make people laugh, intentionally and unintentionally!

Oh, I'm good at sorting stuff! I'm a bit OCD so I like things to be in order or it makes me annoyed! Alphabetising my CDs is the best part of moving house.

The first things people usually notice about me

That I don't make eye contact when i shake hands with people...so often found looking at people's shoes. It has meant that I can tell a lot about someone from their footwear now though.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I don't think I could ever pick definitive favourites for anything really. I like what I like! I am passionate about the things that I love though be it movies, music, or people. My main love is music and I guess if you have to give me a label I fall under the Indie Boy bracket, although I do feel like I'm slightly out growing it. I always love talking about music and films though and could quite happily do so all night.

You should message me if you are kinda geeky, love music, going to gigs and festivals, looking for someone to go to gigs with and talk about how good/bad the support acts are after - someone that doesn't mind going to the midnight showing at the cinema - someone to jump on a train with and have an adventure at the spur of the moment.
