My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I could describe myself as an adventurer. You know, the type that likes trying new things, going to strange places, and generally living somewhat of an exciting life. I even like eating things that would be considered somewhat out of the ordinary (as long as they're edible of course). That's how I discovered that vegan food isn't all that bad.

Sometimes I masquerade as an archeologist, not so much digging holes in the ground and getting all dirty type of archeologist, but going to cool places (such as Greece), and looking at what other people have dug up. It's not really a job though because nobody pays me anything to do it - that is my other job.

I'm also a bit of a literature buff; you know theatre, good movies, books, and that type of thing. Occasionally I even post my thoughts up on the internet for the world to stumble across.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I have a very eclectic taste in literature, ranging from Ovid to Terry Pratchett and Kurt Vonnegut. I like some modernist literature such as Virginia Woolf, Satre, and Hemmingway, but I also have a secret love for ancient authors such as Euripides and Homer. I am also currently rereading my Enid Blyton collection (which I am almost finished).

Movies: I get enough action in my life so I tend to like movies where I can get a good belly laugh (such as that offered by Tarantino and Guy Richie). I also like movies that are a little more fantastical, particularly science-fiction movies that mess with your head (such as Looper and Inception).

Shows: I managed to beat my television addiction years ago, but I do enjoy some shows such as Big Bang Theory, Stargate, Doctor Who, and I have just finished watching all five seasons of Breaking Bad.

Music: Anything as long as it is not country and/or western. I also don't particularly like Rap and Hip Hop, but then again I don't define that as music.

Food: I love anything containing beef, lamb, and kangaroo (no, I'm not a vegetarian), though I am always open to new things. I recently tried snake (it tastes like fish) and eel.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Well, quite a lot of people are going to say friends and family, and I have a feeling that everybody is going to say Food, Water, and Oxygen (and I'll throw Salt in to make it six), so I won't include any of them.

1) Wikipedia – How else am I going to find stuff out?
2) My Smart Phone – Hey finally! My own hand-held computer.
3) Trains - Trains are cool.
4) Freedom of Speech – What more can I say?
5) Beef Schnitzel – My favourite meal
6) My Brother – He's just the coolest dude ever.
