Every morning I wake up to a dog innocently looking at me, spend my day doing science and seeing patients, and I go to sleep reading Rumi or playing words with friends.

In my leisure time I love visiting new places, dining, cooking, watching movies, playing games, barbecuing, canoeing, or just hanging out and having fun. At work, my time is usually divided between seeing patients and nerdy brain imaging research. When alone, I may be playing with or walking my dog, reading, writing, shopping, cooking, fixing a broken table, or working in the backyard. I am into sports and regularly play soccer, ping pong, kickball, walk and run, but have never been a successful gym rat.

I am of Grand Canyon type rather than Las Vegas type.

I am ambitious about my work as a physician and enjoy the research, clinical, and administration sides of it. However, I always find time for fun, family and friends. I’m looking for someone who is creative, sociable, and friendly. I also like to travel and would love to share that with someone special. I want a meaningful relationship with someone who has confidence, and a zest for life.

I am a psychiatrist and a neuroscience researcher. My work is split between saving lives and reading fancy brain images. I love my work and would still do it even if they weren’t paying me.

I like to try all different foods, no specific preference. I can enjoy vegetarian but would not survive on it. No vegan please!
