I spend my time creating things, absorbing
music from all sorts of genres,
experiencing the art of local musicians,
learning more about how the universe
works,
exploring
cities and towns when I can, and coming up with
quirky things to do to weird people
out. I once was responsible for 20 guys being dressed up like
pirates in the
middle of the city.
All sorts of stuff. I've had a range of interesting professional
jobs (from scientist to stock trader) and on the side I do amateur
recording of gigs,
composing/
recording and coordinate
charity work
Making things, Finding weird bands, Accidentally thinking outside
the box, playing multiple
instruments (not all at once),
remixing music
I read
Terry
Pratchett, some biographies, other nonfiction ... mainly I'm a
voracious reader of articles and current events in politics, law,
technology, finance and design.
I watch
Monty
Python,
Futurama, 90s shows ... actually I
don't really watch TV anymore. Movies...
Princess Bride is a classic.
Spaceballs was
very well done. Loved Death To Smoochy. Gotta love Office Space.
Loved Pirates Of the Carribean, actually. Throw Momma From the
Train. Get Shorty.
Music is a big part of me, and I'm really into blues, jazz, rock,
folk, riot girl punk, old school punk, baroque, big beat, ... many
different bands and genres, as long as they're emotionally sincere.
Some stuff in the pile of CDs next to me: Le Tigre, Directions In
Groove, Dawn Collective, Mz Ann Thropik, Stella One Eleven, Red
Paintings, The Waifs, Amanda Palmer, Curve, The Donnas, Mach
Pelican, Joan Jett, BBKing, SRV, Propellerheads, Darth Vegas, Jason
Webley...
The area I live in has heaps of restaurants, so I'm always trying
different sorts of food. Love it.
The world. Cookies. Composing.
Cookies.
Seeing the most unusual bands I can find around the city, and/or
eating in a hole in the wall restaurant
