my personality traits explained
Oct 16, 2010
i don't know who's actually gonna read this, but this is mostly
for me & maybe someone else's spare time. I know that it
shouldn't be taken too seriously, but this will be interesting to
pick it apart anyway. Let's get on with it, for the 2 people
out there who find this entertaining...
less compassionate - sure, i think people should help
others, but people should also be held more liable for their
actions. Some people have too much of an entitlement
attitude, so i think this is why i get this label.
more relaxed - i agree wholeheartedly with
this...i'm about the most laidback Taurus people have ever
met.
more socially conservative - considering i live in
Austin, this is prolly surprising...
more selfish - soooo, i don't believe in govt.
handouts or handing out $$ to homeless on the street... although i
just gave a woman a measly dollar today cuz she came up to me at a
gas station with a sob story, i typically never do that because
there are plenty of other places people can go for help with food,
$$, children, abuse, home life, etc. Plus a lot of people
can't be trusted to help them all out anyway. I'll donate to
causes, or donate clothes, but that's where i draw the line.
less kinky - thanks (or no thanks) to this
website, i feel quite sexually tame. Are most people really
that willing to try anything once??? & i do mean
ANYTHING??? sorry, i gotta lay down some rules somewhere
:-P
less moral - 'breakin the lawwww, breakin the lawwww..." -
no, i'm not an anarchist & think everyone should do whatever
they want, but it's more along the lines of people should already
know better between right & wrong so that others don't have to
constantly enforce it... yes, i realize this is a very unrealistic
ideal, but hey, i can dream. & i actually think i have a
lot more morals than this gives me credit for.
less loving - so maybe i want to get to know
people first before putting all my love & trust in
them??? this one stumps me, quite honestly...
more modern - this one's pretty obvious... i grew up in
the growing media, video game, eMpTV generation... so the 50's
would prolly not be a good decade for me to be thrown in.
more pessimistic - well... like this needs any
explanation, but seriously... when i created this username several
years ago, it was supposed to be tongue-in-cheek. But now
this just confirms it... i'm still not sure how i feel about this
section advertising it for me, since no one's flat out told me i'm
a pessimistic person. People that get to know me well think
i'm pretty darn nice & give positive advice (thanks,
Mom). With that said, i'm rather surprised my answers to
these questions really leaves me THAT much more pessimistic than
other users on here. I don't suppose i'll ever find an answer
to this question.
less trusting - so i don't like to talk to
strangers on the street... isn't it better to be safe than
sorry? I'll smile at others who smile at me, but i won't go
out of my way for strangers for my own personal safety. If
that's selfish, than so be it, but i don't see it that way.
less political - i DETEST politics because it's
pretty darn depressing... but i'm finding myself leaning more &
more right... so this will probably change, since this picture
keeps disappearing & reappearing.
more arrogant - i really don't know where this
comes from... I'm a musician, & to make it as a musician,
you've gotta be as confident as possible... & practice a lot to
make it thru the rat race. This also makes a lot of us sort
of loners to perfect our craft, which could unintentionally make us
appear self-absorbed to outsiders, i dunno... overall, I'm a
confident musician, but i don't think that automatically makes me
an arrogant person.
more pure & spiritual - okaaaaaaay, so i'm a
selfish, uncompassionate, unloving, arrogant person, & then it
throws these 2 in there????? for the record, i am religious,
i practice yoga regularly, & i don't smoke... but i do eat meat
& I like to drink *shrug*
more competitive - the only things i compete in
regularly are musical related... but i've never been into
competitive sports, & i'm not that sore of a loser when i play
games. Sure, we all have our moments, but i seriously won't
break a pool stick just cuz i lose a game to someone.
