My self-summary
I'm a guy from Pittsburgh PA with a past full of stories that mostly make me smile. I have a great family, predominantly back in PGH, and the funniest people I know are my niece and nephew. I had a career, left it, went back to school, and now have my dream job - I make video games. I'm on the tall side, exceptionally casual, and I like to think I'm an eloquent person who chooses to be succinct. Equal parts unabashed dork and driven wanderer.
What I’m doing with my life
Gotta stress this: I cannot call what I do for a living, work. I'm making awesomeness for kids around the world to lose themselves and their imaginations in. It's freaking Santa's Workshop! Work isn't my life, but hot damn it's a blast.

What else... my trivia team made it to the finals this spring and I let myself be talked into doing some triathlons (my second one is on Cinco de Mayo).

Other than that, just tryin not to stress and enjoy all the good things I have/that are around me. I love to read, but have a pile of shame that seemingly can never be dented. Same applies to movies, puzzles, games, bars I need to check out, etc. There are definitely worse problems to have...
I’m really good at
Using big words because they sound cool? Finding randomly fun music that would be great for a mix tape? Improvisational cooking? Depends on the day basically...
The first things people usually notice about me
It was a beard, but that bad boy is mostly gone for the time being. I have a pretty boisterous laugh too, and that one's always on the ready. After that, it's all smiles and a couple tattoos.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

The six things I could never do without
The non-corny things that are always noted (family/air), though still applicable - or what you will most likely always find me with:
My bookbag filled with assorted things
Some tool for communication
A pen (mostly for crosswords)
Some tools for entering buildings/vehicles
Music, with listening devices
A wallet
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Jeez... everything? The world is an entertaining place. People are weird, which is rad. Etymology is not only a fun word. Why am I (not) smiling? Basically it varies.
On a typical Friday night I am
How about a typical Thursday? --> Trivia Night! That tends to be more consistent than Fridays, and always a blast.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
When I quit smoking a couple years back, I developed a passive (aka ridiculous/not that serious) fear of bridges - so I try to run across one as regularly as possible to mess with myself.

...or you're good people and you want to chat about something or nothing in particular
