My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hey how are you?
Eccentric, thoughtful arty person in education who chats, wonders, wanders, and creates and thought it wouldn't hurt to see about making new connections.

Many things that I can't describe here because I'm me talking about me.

I try to be open-minded, liberal, fun, kind and honest. I like being intelligent, sensitive, fun, chatty, talkative, kind, creative, arty, outgoing.

I have a sense of humour, a sense of whimsy, an ickle bit of cute. I like wonderful, magical and nice things.

I'm laid-back, serious when it's time to be. I love life, and people.

I studied Film Studies and Arts Management at a uni then I went to study Film again.

I like art, writing, poetry, coffee, music, cultural life, movies, conversation, magic realism, travel, philosophy, animation, silliness, humour, friends, fun, music, compiling playlists, chocolate and joy.

I like urban, city life, spontaneous encounters, and visiting National Trust properties! :)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
A semi-professional artist writer, poet, and workshop leader, and had some success. My stuff's appeared online and in print, in my own publications and others. I've studied film and the arts and teaching, and continue learning.I know a few things in life, and a lot more to learn, from people. I like to travel, and have travelled to a lot of places around Europe. I like a range of strange music, often folky and acoustic.

I like to go to any arts events and meet up to scribble and doodle in cafes. Oftenffound with a notebook at least nearby. I do enjoy chatting and exchanging correspondance. I've admired magic realist artists and can have a surreal sense of hummus. I like Russian art, animation and poetry and works in translation from all around the world. I like to drink in the innovations and atmospherics of a good Nintendo videogame and anything indie and new.

I'm a Magritte looking for a piece of sky or my Georgette from a curtained window, but I also would like to meet like minded friends inside a Christmas cracker. Also to just chat and share things we like mindedly and different mindedly think are cool.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Quite good, and like continually improving, in my hobby of writing and performance - I like laughing, being relatively non-materialistic, being polite, accomodating, aiming for niceness and inspiration and adventure and little things to make life interesting.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm shy and a little/really quite nervous at first, but lively and fun and enjoy small pleasures and occasionally the finer things in life.

Not to put to fine a point on it, as I don't self-identify, but I'm a disabled sometime wheelchair user, which can be fun and makes life interesting!

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My family,
Friends...
there are more than six of them :)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
On a daily basis? I like to be silly. I know that life's important, but I also enjoy the silliness of it.

Quoting "The Simpsons"

Pop culture but in I hope quite an interesting way - why such and such a thing/actress/actor is good, the business side, etc. Videogames in a similar way but I basically don't play them but like atmospheres and aesthetics.

Stuff I've read.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
It'd be cool to meet someone to liven up my pleasantly relaxed Fridays - generally watching something like a film or something like Breaking Bad, Ripper Street or The News Room, or Community, maybe with an ale or European lager.

If, after all this nonsense, you want to. I like talking nonsense, and being silly. I believe there are different ways of making meaning, beyond the most boring ones like "making sense". Drop me a line even if your just bored and would like to chat - that's cool.

I would like to meet new people to enjoy cultural life with, and to share outlooks on life, smiles, ideas, and knowledge. I like to have nice conversations, and share similar and varied tastes and celebrating similarities and awesome differences. Someone wise, strong, independent, and with their own coolness - someone who's genuinely "good people", as they might say in New York (never been!) to talk about everything and while away moments that may indeed become hours. I just tend to like making new connections, and collaborating in this wide world. If I make new friends on here that would be totally awesome.
