I'm quiet and reserved, but my friends find me funny and even have dry sense of humor when they start getting to know me. I take time to get to know people, but I am open-minded, and I do not judge people. I respect differences & appreciate diversity. I am independent, but I do admit that I lack some basic survival skills (like connecting Wii, DVD player and TV together), which I depend heavily on my friends. I am rather organized at work, but I enjoy being spontaneous and somewhat unpredictable outside work.

I am working to live but I enjoy what I do for work (um, for the most part.) I believe life is a journey of continuous learning... I especially like learning different cultures and meeting with people with different views, and I've been fortunate enough to have traveled to many countries, lived in and outside of the US, and worked with colleagues from diverse cultural background. I am also interested in learning photography, sailing and beer-brewing (or wine making) at the moment. And just trying to be the best person I can be.

Books: I can't think of any from top of my head... maybe a few books by Japanese authors. I read John Grisham and Dan Brown for fun, but they never made it to my favorite list. I admit I enjoyed Harry Potter series very much.

Movies: Amelie, Cinema Paradiso, Stand by Me, High Fidelity, Lost in Translation and a lot more. I watch mostly foreign or independent films, and I like films by Pedro Almodovar and Wong Kar-Wai.

Music: Reading through the "most played" on my iPod... Arcade Fire, Belle & Sebastian, Ben Folds, Coldplay, Doves, The Killers, Oasis, The Postal Service, The Rentals, U2 and Wilco. I listen mostly rock, alternative, and a little bit of everything else.

Food: I love almost any kind of food! But if I have to pick a few, I eat lots of Asian food, Italian, and Middle-eastern. I try to be a healthy eater, but I am a sucker for french fries (especially if they are curly or waffle) and icecream.
