My self-summary
Some things I think are relevant, in no particular order:

If I went to college a few more times I would study neuroscience, physics, computer science, and at least one discipline of engineering. There is too much to learn in the world, and I’m excited to keep learning for the rest of my life.

Traveling is awesome. My priorities are seeing beautiful nature and eating great food. Top three destinations at the moment: Iceland, South America, New Zealand. I would love to do a big journey by train sometime.

I love doing fun and cool things, spontaneous or otherwise. I think sometimes people ignore the fun of planned adventures, like the epic scavenger hunt I made for my best friend’s birthday once. That said, not much beats a good night in: cooking (maybe baking), watching TV/movies, playing card or board games, doing crafts or other fun projects.

Nature is really important to me. I grew up in a New England suburb and loved it. My family has multiple bird feeders and a small frog pond, and when wild turkeys walk through, my dad feeds them (they're now regular visitors). The city is nice, but I can't wait until I can afford to live outside the city somewhere with green around.

I love birds of all kinds, and especially penguins (I liked penguins before they were cool).
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a freelance music director, which encompasses a lot of things. I just finished music directing a show at Princeton, my alma mater, and I'm working on a couple awesome off-Broadway shows for the next few months. I'm also revising an original musical of my own, and I tutor on the side.
I’m really good at
Baking (and some cooking)
Knitting
Skiing - I've skied since I could walk and was on a competitive freestyle team when I was younger.
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably not the first thing, but I am very silly and I laugh a lot. People often comment on how I notice random little things, usually things I find funny. I appreciate that because I really value finding the fun in everyday life.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: The Things They Carried, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, Gone with the Wind, and Middlesex are the first ones that come to mind. I love Harry Potter and Hunger Games and have stayed far away from Twilight. The best part of riding the subway is getting to read on the way. Billy Collins is my favorite poet.

Movies: Back to the Future, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Catch Me If You Can, Inglorious Basterds, You've Got Mail.

TV Shows: Modern Family, Mad Men, Doctor Who, Arrested Development, Friends, House.

Music: There is no concise list. I like most of what I hear and enjoy being introduced to new things because I discover so little on my own. The Vespers are currently playing on my Spotify.

Food: Good food. I love Italian, French, and most Asian foods in particular.
The six things I could never do without
Any answer I would give to this question would be arbitrary. I will instead list some random things I think are awesome:

- interior design/cool furniture designs.
- speaking multiple languages. I wish I spoke more languages.
- gibberish words. I find them HILARIOUS.
- the sound that scissors make when they cut paper, which is similar to the sound poker chips or Scrabble tiles make when you clink them together.
- when all the hands on my watch line up perfectly.
- the size of front-page headlines. I love watching the New York Times page at big events to see when they decide it’s important enough to take up extra space, or be in all caps, etc.
- tourism industries in really small countries and random places.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
People: the way we perceive ourselves and each other, the way we act differently (or not different at all) around different people and in different circumstances.

Technology: We're in the middle of a massive technological revolution that has completely changed the foundation of the world. Information is EVERYWHERE. Things are moving so fast, and who knows when or where they’ll stop? This blows my mind on a regular basis.
On a typical Friday night I am
Seeing a show, getting dinner/hanging out with a friend, or at home enjoying a night in.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m willing to admit most things, so this doesn’t really provide any interesting insight. I tried to pick something arbitrary, but then I just expanded the above list of awesome stuff.

You should message me if
You want to start a conversation! Meeting people online is a strange beast, and I have no idea how it'll turn out, but a good conversation is always a nice thing.

You like having fun doing everyday things (e.g. folding laundry, grocery shopping). That is a great way to be.
