My self-summary
I'll have my little adventures... I've swum across a lake, been hiking, tubing, spelunking, and biking, and I've traveled around in Europe and Japan. When it comes down to it though, I'm typically amused through low-key activities. I like to spend time with a few friends, talking and enjoying a good or really bad movie, or DnD. I'm an introverted geek that can bluff having social skills for an hour or two as needed. I can't say I've ever enjoyed the bar scene, though; I enjoy my conversations better when I can hear them. I'm also a big fan of honesty and integrity. I may be that nice guy that'll finish last, though I've got a backbone. I'm tall, slender, smart, odd, and about to launch into a new paragraph for no particular reason.

I do my best to keep an open mind, but will stand my ground when I'm sure I'm right. I've been told I'm unpredictable, yet reliable, immature, but an old-soul. Odd things might amuse me. It can be a blast to drop pretenses and set dignity aside for a time, to get the most enjoyment out of a situation. I suppose using the qualifying statement of "I've been told" doesn't count as a true self-summary. Look at me being a rebel.

I'd like to find a kind and irresistible person with shared interests; this might peg her as something of a geek, which would be a very good thing, in my book. As a side note, I can't convey my love of sarcasm, wry humor, or unpredictable yet regulated insanity using a keyboard, apparently. Stupid keyboard.

What I’m doing with my life
Since I've firmly taken care of all that food/clothing/shelter stuff, I'm often spending any down-time enjoying myself amongst friends. I'm sure there's more to living than that; I'm usually working on some form of self improvement as well. I recently took water aerobics, yoga, kickboxing and go hiking, swimming, biking, or tennis-playing frequently with my friends. I've also enjoyed games such as WoW, Smash Brothers, D&D, and Settlers with those same friends; it's a nice one-two punch. Something I'd like to be doing with my life is sharing more of it with somebody else, but that's one of the things I'm working on :).

I’m really good at
There's a lot that I'm pretty good at, and not all that much that I'm terrible at either. I might have a particular gift for entertaining others, in an awkward/weird sort of way. That, or statistical mathematics. See what I mean? I did recently whip out some wicked tree-climbing skills. My friends had to dodge a few sticks down below, while I had some close calls with flying ice cubes. Try me :p

I spend a lot of time thinking about
I'm often thinking just for the sake of thinking. It can be difficult to describe. Here's an example... I'll be doing something, like updating an online profile, for example, and realize there's a tune playing inside my head. Only, I won't know what's coming next in the music, or where I originally heard it. Part of me will know, though... so I just have to wait and let the tune keep going on its own in there, until I finally recognize it. A couple times I've also thought about how sometimes when I wake up, I can remember colorful multimedia dreams, ones with their own sound track. Their music is sometimes stolen, and other times new to me. Odd that, given that I'm not one to seek out music. Hah, that first concept just happened now... the Wizard of Oz scarecrow "If I only had a brain" song piped in, as if to suggest some additional subject matter here. My thanks to you, my crazy unconscious mind, you're the best... I think. I'll also catch myself crunching numbers in my mind to resolve some question from time to time, but that's just not nearly as interesting to discuss for most people, now is it? Hey, if you think it is, I'd be glad to hear about it though :).

On a typical Friday night I am
Comfortably at home hanging out with a friend, or just plain vegging out. I've been a bit more social lately, but I've got to say... relaxing with a few friends is nice.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Sometimes, I (verb) when my (noun) becomes too (adjective). Oh yes, it's true, but you'll understand it better when you understand me better :p.

I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 22-30
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For long-term dating
You should message me if
You're a geek, proud of it, and mentally and physically fit. You're into (but not consumed by) the likes of computer/console/board/role playing games, enjoy the indoors and the outdoors, and don't need to hit the town to have a good time. I think people have the best shot at liking each other if they have a lot in common, so everything I just listed does apply to me. Here's hoping it describes you, too :)
