My self-summary
I'm a quiet easy-going sort of guy. Intelligent and introverted but fun once I warm up.

I can be passionate about my interests. I enjoy science and art equally and have some talents on both sides of the brain. I enjoy topical discussions about politics and world affairs. I love to learn and am practically glued to the Internet.

I'm Cajun; originally from the bayous south of New Orleans. I'd like to live near there again some day.
What I’m doing with my life
I am a software developer for Auburn University. It's a good career. It's nice and quiet in the library. I feel like I'm contributing something meaningful.

I am the lead programmer and lead technical artist for an action roleplaying game. Sort of like Diablo in style, but aiming to make it easy to mod and create new stories. It's an open source project; I enjoy working with that community.
I’m really good at
I picked up programming as a young kid and still thoroughly enjoy it. I've been doing web development since the late 90s, and 3D modeling since the early 00's.

Though I like playing video games, I feel a daily need to create instead of consume. I'm a left-brain artist. I like collaborating with and being around creative people.

Ways to improve code I wrote years ago.

Why people have the same dreams (falling, forgetting clothes, losing teeth) and what that says about our collective fears.

Copyright law (and to a lesser extent, trademark and patent law).

Politics, though it just makes me want to lie down.

What to make next! Trying to be more creative, especially with the 3D stuff I'm making lately.
On a typical Friday night I am
