My Self-Summary

I'm just about done with my 5th year in a 6 year program to become a pharmacist. School's not easy, but I guess that's to be expected if I'm going to be trusted with people's lives. Luckily for me, only a year in the field left and then I'm all done! I work at a Walgreens pharmacy, much like the rest of my school, and I love it, strangely enough. It's difficult and trying at times, but I work with some absolutely fantastic people and we usually end up having a ball while we work. When I'm not working I'm attempting to catch up on all the sleep I lost over the course of the last semester, or just catching a movie and hanging out with my friends.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm going to college at the moment. I'm finishing up my 5th year of a 6 year program to get my Pharm.D.

I’m really good at

Procrastinating, mostly, and I love sleeping.. I find that I appreciate sleep more and more as I get less and less of it.

The first things people usually notice about me

I'm kinda nerdy (kinda comes naturally with the "smart" thing). I've also been told I have "awesome" eyes.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

A. I enjoy reading, especially fiction when I have time outside of required textbook reading :-P. I like Dan Brown's books, the Harry Potter books, Eragon, Katherine Neville's books and a whole bunch of others that I just don't have the space for. B. I watch a lot of movies, and my taste really varies. When it's just my roommates and me, we watch chick flicks, but I like almost everything. C. I listen to the radio a lot, and like most kinds of music, but typically avoid country music at all costs. D. Again, I'm fairly easy to please. I'm usually willing to try almost everything at least once, but I will admit I really dislike veggies!

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Eek! In about a year and a half I'm going to be a full-fledged pharmacist! I'm going to be trusted to run a pharmacy and manage people and deal with bratty customers that can't understand their prescription insurance plan!! (Scary, right??)

And when I get bored with that I start making unrealistic vacation plans that I can enact when I get out of school :)

On a typical Friday night I am

Working, and if I'm not working I'm hanging out with my friends, going to movies or shopping.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I get a kick out of answering "42" when customer's think they're being clever and ask what the meaning of life is after I ask them if they have any questions about their prescription.
