My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I moved to Glasgow fairly recently and don't know many people yet; it seems like an exciting city and I'm looking forward to getting to explore it a little more.

I'm fairly relaxed when it comes to most things and subscribe to the idea of each to their own - hey, might not be my thing but go with what works.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I oversee team working on marketing campaigns at a digital agency. It may sound a little sad, but I really enjoy my work and really enjoy the office - we have a dart board, which is substantially coolong :)

Very much trying to get out and explore more of the city, I'm fairly new to Glasgow still and there's lots to see.

Anytime I'm not at work, I generally spend it reading, painting, playing football and going to the cinema (thank God for the unlimited card). As my job sort of depends on it, I like just trying new things on computers and messing about on the internet - it counts as research.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm a reasonable goalkeeper and cook a mean steak - plus maths too I guess.

I can also speed read, so can crack through a novel in a couple of hours usually.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
This is a very difficult one to answer; taking a stab I'd say my accent and perhaps my height?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - The Idiot, The Outsider, poor sci-fi, Anna Karenina, a lot of textbooks, anything by Balzac.
Films - LOTR, anything Pixar, Hercules, Zoolander, Cabin in the Woods. It's usually the premise of a film that gets me.
TV - Futurama, Simpsons, Arrested Development, It's Always Sunny, Parks and Rec, Community, Modern Family, Don't Trust the Bitch, Dr Who.
Music - Electro, techno, a lot of ambiant, indusrtial, PJ Harvey, Puscifer.
Food - Steak!, pizza, thai, seafood
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1 - Having multiple monitors
2 - Books
3 - Synced gadget data
4 - Music
5 - Steak
6 - Tea
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
God, I honestly spend quite a lot of time thinking about work :(
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Sometimes it's grabbing a couple of pints after work, sometimes it's heading home - talk about variety.

We usually have a darts tournament and a couple of drinks in the office on a Friday afternoon, so that's nice.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Hmm, I distrust most birds - they have suspiciously reptilian movements.
