My self-summary
I'm an easy going guy, always up for a laugh and a game of Risk.

Fun, caring and hopefully witty; I'm looking for new adventures and to meet new people.
What I’m doing with my life
Ha, very much wish I knew.

I'm currently working as a freelance writer and loving it: there's always plenty of time to lunch during Bargain Hunt. Apart from writing, I like doing a fair bit of exercise to just get out and have a run. I'm like a dog in the park - the thrill of being outside and being able to run is enough for me.

I spent a bit of time travelling around India and climbing in Nepal and need to go again sometime, there's so much to see and do. I also worked as a watersports instructor, so if you've ever felt like learning to windsurf or kayak; I'm the chap.
I’m really good at
Phrasing sentences to make them sell something (an idea, a product); my work relies upon it. I adore being able to think on various ways of similar content.

It might not be something I'm great at, but I love to cook (well, I love to try anyway). Give me a steak an I'll turn it into a cooked steak - how's that for skill?
The first things people usually notice about me
I hope it's my sparkling wit, charm and rugged good looks, but it's probably not :) I'm very friendly and love to engage with people on any number of topics - I'm genuinely interested in a wide range of subjects and this usually comes across when you meet me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books - The Idiot, The Outsider, poor sci-fi, Anna Karenina, a lot of textbooks, anything by Balzac.
Films - LOTR, anything Pixar, Hercules, Zoolander, Cabin in the Woods. It's usually the premise of a film that gets me.
TV - Futurama, Simpsons, Arrested Development, It's Always Sunny, Parks and Rec, Community, Modern Family, Don't Trust the Bitch, Dr Who.
Music - Electro, techno, a lot of ambiant, indusrtial.
Food - Steak!, pizza, thai, seafood
The six things I could never do without
1 - My PC
2 - Books
3 - Gin
4 - Music
5 - Steak
6 - Tea
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Some very silly things really. I studied Philosophy at uni and so find myself thinking of things no one else seems to much.

I love constructing sentences and exploring where a great argument will go. if you've seen Thank You for Smoking then you'll know what I'm on about.
On a typical Friday night I am
Sorry to be so dull, but it's usually after work pints with friends. If not, then I'll most likely be home with my flatmates having a catch up. I believe any situation can be made into one that's novel and offers pleasures not yet had (even if it's as simple as having a cup of tea and watching a film). It might sound corny, but it really is the attitude that determines how successful an activity is.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Hmm, I distrust most birds.
