I moved to Lexington from thePittsburgharea in June. I am going to UK to get my masters in Library Science. I really don't know much about Lexington, so I would love to meet someone who could show me around. I am really new to city life. I went to a smallish, rural school to get my bachelor's degree and I grew up in the country. I moved to the city because I wanted a change of pace and more things to do on the weekend other than just go to a bar, though I am unopposed to going to a bar.

My undergraduate degree was inHistoryEducation andLiterature.I really like history and English but after student teaching, I am not sure how I feel about actually teaching as a career. I am looking for options right now. I am hoping I enjoy the library field more. I may just need a break from education, as I do really like to work with kids and young adults.

I really dislike the show Family Guy and most shows like it.

I also negatively judge people who don't list any favorite books, or they list books they read in high school. I love books. I feel I am allowed to judge on this basis.

I'm going to grad school at UK. I also work at a library on campus. I volunteer at the Lexington Humane Society as well. I like it; I get to play with animals. It's a good way to de-stress.
