Books: Finally caught up on the Song of Ice and Fire series, and now patiently jonesin' for book six with the rest of the nerds. Recently read Still Life with Woodpecker. Dangerous Liaisons is oddly sexy for the style in which it's written. Next up: Stranger in a Strange Land, Omnivore's Dilemma. I've spent the last several years reading science papers for my degree, so now I finally have time to read for pleasure; I'm open to suggestions!
Movies: Espionage/mystery flicks and comic book adaptations or sci-fi/fantasy epics top my list of favorite genres. I have a nerd crush on Tony Stark. I'm pretty confident I've seen Jurassic Park more times than most.
Shows: Pretty much anything with excellent writing, comedic or otherwise (Game of Thrones, Sherlock, Portlandia, Parks and Rec, Community, Arrested Development, and yes, Battlestar Galactica - don't you judge me).
I also enjoy music and eating, occasionally both at the same time. I realized the other day that a large portion of my music library consists of live Phish shows, and while I have a long relationship with that band, I desperately crave new tunes! This is where you come in, friend.
