I'm laid back. I have a goofy sense of humor. It's nice being able to laugh at yourself, no need to be serious all the time. I tend to be a smart-ass & sarcastic. I'm open-minded & adventurous. I like to think that you don't know if you'll like something unless you give it a try!

I like to go hiking... Seeing live music.. Trying new restaurants, I love trying new foods... Visiting the different museums around the area... I love watching movies... I enjoy visiting the wineries in the area & try to visit a few during the warmer months... I like staying in & being lazy... or going out to have a drink with friends, depends on what I'm in the mood for...

I've been both indoor & outdoor rock climbing, snowboarding, skiing, tubing (snow & water!), kayaking. Next up is sky diving! And maybe race car driving.

Being Hispanic my family is a big part of my life (this includes blood-related family and not!) I have 2 nieces who I absolutely adore and try to spend lots of time with.

Working for the man... & researching grad schools...

Hah! I'm short, but sassy! Or better yet, like the magnet I just got from the Newseum says "I'm not short, I'm fun-sized!"

Favorite movies: Say Anything, the Matrix, Love Actually, the Resident Evil movies, Office Space, The Hangover movies, Star Wars movies, Good Will Hunting, Groundhog Day, Dogma, The Fifth Element, Serenity, Inception, Dawn of the Dead, Shaun of the Dead, Zoolander, Ted... I'll watch just about anything!

Favorite Bands: Bloc Party, Dave Matthews Band, Muse, U2, Radiohead, Billy Idol, Incubus, Bjork, M83, Colbie Caillat, Florence & The Machines, 30 Seconds to Mars, Sigur Ros, The Arcade Fire, Silverspun Pickups, The Tragically Hip, Yeah Yeah Yeahs... I love listening to XM & discovering new music!

Favorite tv shows: Dexter, Doctor Who, Warehouse 13, Grimm, Elementary, Sherlock... I don't watch much tv during the week, so I'm usually attempting to catch up on shows on Netflix or Hulu.

I have favorite authors: Dean Koontz, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Patricia Briggs, Jennifer Weiner, Paulo Coelho, Jane Austen... Actually I just started reading Veronika Decides To Die by Paulo Coelho.

My family, my friends, music, sense of humor, my kindle, my iphone...

What's my next step... grad school researching...

Relaxing at home after a long work week.. Or maybe grabbing dinner with friends...
