I am yes, no, and maybe.

My Self-Summary

Self-summary? Uh, born and raised in Atlanta, I like riding my bike (the kind without a motor), walking and listening to music, taking pictures and playing the bass. I'm pragmatic and I have a dry and sarcastic sense of humor. I'm not good at self-summarizing...I'm too analytical and I keep typing a line...and then deleting it...and then retyping...

What I’m doing with my life

Currently I work as an engraver, but I'm also an aspiring photographer focusing on live music and artist promos. I currently shoot for Paste Magazine online as well as examiner.com and I've also had one of my photos selected for JPG Magazine. I also go to a lot of local shows and can usually be found at the front, against the stage with my camera in my hand. I've also played bass in a couple of projects that never got out of the rehearsal space. Currently "jamming" with some folks...we'll see what happens.

I’m really good at

Randomly quoting movies, TV shows, Bill Hicks and other funny ass comedians

I think I'm a decent photographer

I make awesome mix tapes

Ending sentences with an ellipsis...

The first things people usually notice about me

Really?

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Randomly...

Books: To Live Is To Die, Transformations of Myth Through Time, The Dancing Wu Li Masters, The Unbearable Lightness Of Being, No Logo, Factotum, The Road, Hyperspace, Griffin and Sabine, Fight Club, The Age of Reason, Art & Physics, 1984, Red Dragon, Running With Scissors, One Hundred Years Of Solitude...currently reading The Zombie Survival Guide

Movies: The Big Lebowski, Pan's Labyrinth, Anchorman, Waking Life, High Fidelity, Fast Times At Ridgemont High, The Usual Suspects, Pulp Fiction, The Princess Bride, The Royal Tenenbaums, Walk Hard, Eraserhead, Red Dawn, WALL-E, Raising Arizona, Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, Wet Hot American Summer, documentaries

Music: Total whore for pretty much everything from Be-Bop to Metal to Afro-beat to Classical to (old) Country to Trip-Hop with a special affinity for classic soul music. Right now, Shrinebuilder and the newest Converge record are on infinite repeat...

You can also check out my last.fm page...even though it hasn't been "scrobbling" my ipod as of late...

Food: That's an interesting topic...

I also like watching pretty much anything on adult swim and Mad Men is my most recent obsession.

The six things I could never do without

film
ipod
bike
computer
El Myr (that's...kind of a joke)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

How to not think too much.

On a typical Friday night I am

Usually somewhere in L5P or East Atlanta, or at a show. I like the Highland Ballroom as well.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

As a child I despised left-handed people because I secretly wanted to be one.

You should message me if

You have something interesting to say

You are a fan of Bill Hicks

You're an artist of some type
