I'm a product manager at a huge software company as my day job - but my heart is really more in my photography
, digital image creation
, and making jewellery based on my artwork.
I read a lot, a mix of SF/F
, other fiction
I've been polyamorous
for many years, and was one of the founders of the Montreal Poly
mailing list back in 2001 - although it's been mostly dormant lately - since my daughter came along it's been a bit more challenging getting involved in that kind of thing. I've been with my 'primary' since 1995, and we had a daughter together in mid-2007. We live with my primary's OSO, who is taking an active parenting role with our daughter. I can highly recommend the 3 parents to 1 child ratio.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm passionate about my photography, image creation and jewellery - I'd love to be able to make it my primary source of income, but I think I've got a ways to go before that happens. I enjoy my day job quite a lot, so I'm not in *that* big a rush.
I’m really good at
I'm pretty good at identifying when two other people think they are talking about the same thing, but actually aren't.
I've had a lot of people be quite effusive about how good I am at massage.
I'm a pretty good cook - I like cooking, and tend to produce pretty good food pretty consistently. I'm also getting pretty good at taking existing recipes and coming up with gluten-free / dairy-free versions of them...

My life is reasonably full right now - but I would be interested in someone I can get together with 2-4 times a month for a movie, some interesting conversation, games, a bath, or sitting together reading - or reading to each other. If that sounds interesting, drop me a line.
