My self-summary
I studied biology before I got into photojournalism, and I strongly believe art and science have a lot to say to each other. They just might lead me to a "theory of everything" eventually.

I love hearing stories and telling them in my own way, though I'm terrible with plot details when I'm put on the spot. I tend to boil things down pretty succinctly.

I like to travel but I would like to figure out how to do so without acidifying the oceans.

I love the outdoors, I like meat, and I belt out classic country songs in my truck.

I take my camera everywhere. The reason varies but I always have one.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a photographer, or a visual journalist if you want to get technical. Fresh out of grad school, I'm tackling internships and telling stories.
I’m really good at
Pushups.

Traveling.

Hiking and camping.

Reaching the top shelf and opening pickle jars.

Getting lost and turning it into a pastime.
The six things I could never do without
My camera is always with me. If I have that I can do without much else. Except maybe a laptop to view the photos. Or an internet connection to share them. Also toothpaste.

OK, that's four. Let's add a sleeping bag and a backpack. I would include my dog but let's be honest. He's going to die someday and I will find the strength to move on.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
... how I'm going to continue doing what I want to do — see the world and meet new people
On a typical Friday night I am
Either out with friends, out with a camera, at home working or at home semi-working.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I became a photojournalist because I'm introverted and I'm curious how the other half lives — being all outgoing and whatnot. Meeting new people in any situation is always an internal adrenaline rush and always a positive experience.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 21–28

  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
If you like hiking or taking wrong turns. Or if you have a story to tell. Or if you know someone with a story to tell.
