My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a pretty rad guy. I coined the phrase "the proof is in the pudding" but it has since taken on a different meaning. My style is somewhere between "Downs Syndrome James Bond" and "Sorry, I don't have any change".

I am honest (unless I have cards in my hand) and try to be as reliable as possible. I love to laugh and I think I'm hilarious. I'm a nerd and an atheist. I'm not a genius but I love to learn. I'm dyslexic but I love to read.

That's my quick intro. If you want to know more, just ask. My life is an open vintage Garfield Trapper Keeper.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
My life has always been very focused on food. Making it, eating it, rubbing it in my hair; basically exploring and experimenting with all things culinary. I have spent most of my working life in restaurants, from dishwasher to executive chef and owner. Right now I am a writer. So a lot of my day is spent staring at a blank page... or playing with my dogs, working out, playing video games (sorry, not going to grow up when it comes to that), or possibly just enjoying the company of whiskey and Netflix.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm really good at making food. And I'm a good dog dad.
The first things people usually notice about me

My blue eyes. Maybe the tattoos.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Anything by Vonnegut (I'm so deep, right?), Richard Dawkins is amazing, Calvin and Hobbes always and forever. I'm a GameInformer in the bathroom, comic book on the porch kind of guy.

Shitty B movies are awesome! Once Upon A Time In The West, Drive, Cabin Boy, The Sandlot, Zoolander, First Blood, In Bruges, Grandma's Boy... I don't know. I like movies. I have a soft spot for sappy Amy Adams movies for some reason.

TV- Walking Dead and Breaking Bad, just like everyone else. Upright Citizens Brigade, Fawlty Towers, The Office (both), The IT Crowd, I could teach a class on Arrested Development.

As far as music goes- R.E.M. Is the greatest band ever. That's a scientific fact. Also- Iron Maiden, Avail, Prefuse 73, Sam The Butcher, Jay-Z, Nosaj Thing, Glitch Mob, Latyrx, Wu Tang... You know, music.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family, friends, dogs, food, drink, games.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.

Mostly girls. And food. I try to write jokes sometimes. I have solved most of the worlds problems while in traffic (so I couldn't write them down, of course).
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Same thing we do every night, Pinky. Try to take over the world!

Or watching a movie with friends, riding my bike, playing corn hole with my brothers, eating something delicious, or taking advantage of cheap beer and awesome hardcore/punk shows at the bar across the street. Fun stuff. I like fun stuff...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I admit nothing!
