If you don't find this image entertaining in the slightest, you should probably just move on:

I've been turning WTF into FTW since 1985, and am motivated by two types of things:

1) Artsy fartsy, abstract type things.
2) Logical approaches to problem solving.

I was born/raised in El Paso, moved to Austin, graduated with an English degree from UT, and never found a reason to leave.

I am very slow to anger and I am probably coming off more serious than I actually am. In real life I'm a tad goofy, and usually end up making people laugh.

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Software engineering for a startup during the day, making music the rest of the time, writing poems, drinking the not-so-occasional whiskey.

A lot of this (SXSW 2015, @ Hole In The Wall)

Eventually I'd like to be involved in an endeavor that combines both my technical prowess and music... aaaaaand also somehow helps people. Pie in the sky? Maybe. Who are you, my mom?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
making queso and guacamole.
Looping notes through, like, a BILLION delay pedals.
unapologetic Hyperbole
erratic capitalization, and punctuation
getting cats to like me
countering/interrupting your spells
The first things people usually notice about me

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The pitch of random noises. Alliteration. Algorithms. Delay and reverb. App ideas. Food truck ideas. Anything regarding psychology or technology. How we're all made up of mostly space. What it would be like to be Jesse Lacey. How to omit needless words and eschew obfuscation.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Nights out: Having good beers in better company. Playing a show. Watching friends play shows. Drinking whiskey. Dancing somewhere? A friend's place, playing magic the gathering.

Nights in: Writing/playing/listening to music. Netflix marathons. Cat petting. Reading books. Although, when I read, I tend to prefer short stories and poems.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

For the longest time I thought "A Farewell to Arms" was the autobiography of the drummer from Def Leppard.

I keep forgetting how to spell the word exercise.

Some of my music was licensed for short clips in Teen Mom 2. (Yeah, yeah, I know. Don't give me that look, it wasn't my choice.)

You go with the flow. Seriously, if you complain a lot we probably won't get along.

You like going out to see live music. You aren't afraid to try random foods. You want to plan a road trip. You like to play music. You are a cat enthusiast.

You are currently trapped in a room because of a random velociraptor and require assistance. I wont be able to assist, but I can empathize like a motherfucker.
