I'm witty but serious.
I'm unconventional, and would rather ask you how you felt about elementary school than what your retirement plans are.
I'm polite, intelligent, and insightful
I order my food like Elaine Bennett
I get tired at 11pm.
If I'm sitting near a fireplace, I will leave the party to sit by myself in front of it. That said, I'm not boring and others find me compelling.
My compatriots find me artistic
I get extremely excited about learning things
I play the devil's advocate always
If you get close to me you'll find me to be deeply romantic and sexually expressive
Chuck Palaniuk, Anne Sexton, Donald Ray Pollock, Margaret Atwood, Edward Gorey, Joyce Carol Oates, the New Yorker... 'Strait is the Gate', 'Kinflicks', 'the Gargoyle', 'Green Eggs and Ham', 'No Exit'….'One Art'... Researching the origins of folklore and superstitions. The dictionary and thesaurus are good friends; the grammar and spelling police are on the hunt for me. I dont watch much TV. I'm trying to read 'Anna Karenina'….'a Natural History of the Senses' is a good train trip book. 'Harold and Maude' is one of the happiest films ever made in my opinion. 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind', 'Hannah and Her Sisters', 'Another Woman', 'The Shining', 'Eyes Wide Shut', 'Rivers and Tides', 'Rosemary's Baby', ' 'Don't Look Now', Nosferatu', 'The Crying Game', 'Gone with the Wind', 'The Graduate',... Edvard Munch, Bruegel, Laurie Anderson...art deco, old bars, full moons, cats in windows... I open shop doors for animals, disappear in used bookstores, and continuously search for the most unusual cocktail in any city. My fantasy romantic weekend getaway would be the Ice Hotel in Quebec. (If you think the cold can't be romantic, just take a look at that place!) subways scare me but I use them anyway :) I could live in a cheese shop. I've been to heaven and back and will never forget or regret the trip.
My favorite foods are bread and butter, steamed clams with a beer.. grilled cheese, and succotash….they comfort and warm me. I also like mincemeat.
If people find you eccentric or creative, I'll probably enjoy your company. If you find honesty refreshing and it doesn't make
you too uncomfortable, and you don't mind odd segways in our conversation, you'll probably enjoy mine. If you have an accent no other qualities are required :)
I am looking for a wife (eventually), so I'd like a mate who is interested in marriage. I am a supportive, loving partner and having some traditional values, I believe in building a foundation such as that in which to share joys and sorrows as they come.
