My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My friends describe me as funny, intelligent, occasionally awkward (in an endearing way), and generally somebody who they enjoy talking to. I'm a pretty big nerd, which is something I've come to embrace over the years (I find it interesting that society is much more accepting of nerds these days than it was when I was growing up).

I have a zombie-like fascination with brains, though unlike zombies, my interest is academic rather than culinary.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a doctor starting my neurology residency at Wash U
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Cooking, mixing drinks, neuroscience, witty/nerdy banter, wordplay, crossword puzzles, inexplicably injuring myself, overusing parentheses

Also, I recently starred in a musical, so singing and/or acting should probably make the list
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'd like to think it's my wit and charm, but it's sort of hard for those to be the *first* things anybody notices if they have working vision. I'm usually pretty well-dressed, which people sometimes notice. Physically, it might be my pale skin and vampire-like canine teeth. Fortunately, we live in an era where this reminds people of popular characters from True Blood/Twilight/Whatever rather than making them want to form an angry, pitchfork-wielding mob.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
friends & family
mental stimulation
my chef's knife
Google maps - I have a notoriously bad sense of direction
my netflix account
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The fact that I've compared myself to two different undead creatures in this profile, medicine, new mixology ideas, Eagles football, politics, interesting ice cream flavors to make, neuroscience, movies, puns involving friends' names, and the huge array of random things that pop into my head.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out (or in) with friends, binge-watching Netflix, or occasionally stuck in the hospital.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a soft spot for Charmed.

Basically, a friend explained the plot of a Charmed episode to me, and I thought, "This sounds like the stupidest show ever created." Then I watched an episode with him (yes, it was a him) and thought, "This might actually be the stupidest show ever created." Then, for reasons I don't really understand, I just kept on watching it.

You're interested in me (whatever that means to you). I honestly think the whole notion that the guy has to initiate things is silly. I've heard of guys that are turned off by women who are too forward, but I am decidedly not one of them, so go for it.
