After spending the past six years working in the public sector, I'm in grad school working on my MBA. Business school is just like government, except entirely different. 90% of my life is reading cases, going to esoteric student club events (ask me about the Priscilla Ball) and drinking pitchers at the lovely Bus Stop Pub in Allston.

Knowing random facts about Rhode Island. Getting into shenanigans regardless of the occasion, from beer gardens to black tie events. Giving American person-on-the-street quotes to foreign media outlets on topics I don't know very much about.

Working my way through Haruki Murakami's 1Q84 and Gordon Wood's Radicalism and the American Revolution. Also like Italo Calvino, J.M. Coetzee, Milan Kundera and Yukio Mishima.

Movies
Pretty much anything by Wes Anderson or Alexander Payne is amazing. Election and Rushmore are particularly good.

I secretly want to be Thomas Mars from Phoenix. But James Blake, Hot Chip and Stars are great too. Really looking forward to The National, Andrew Bird and Youth Lagoon at Boston Calling.
