After my recent job-inspired relocation to Cleveland, I’ve decided to return to okcupid to help make this move a little easier. I just accepted a promotion with my company and it has been interesting! Prior to moving here, my last real visit to Cleveland was more than 20 years ago. I am here after 3 years of living in Columbus, preceded by Idaho. I'm trying to learn my way around Cleveland, and just settled into a my new place in Lakewood. It reminds me of my old neighborhood in Columbus with the added bonus of having the lake right down the street!

What I'm doing with my life: I'm a Horticulturist and I'm currently working for a major horticultural company overseeing several lawn care routes in the eastern Cleveland area. I’m planning an ambitious new year (to reduce the sting of being 30)! I plan to learn to cook, learn about wine, master the guitar, and figure out my new city.

Being me, my job, working with dogs, archery, running, gardening, learning and remembering things that may never be of use to me again (aka “trivia”), people-watching, being an amateur historian.

I guess my personality, and a supposed resemblance to Matt Damon that I am yet to really see for myself.

a)I don't really read enough books but I plan to get back in the swing and am working on Atlas Shrugged. I do however read quite a bit in my constant search for knowledge(useful or otherwise). The written word is our greatest conveyor of knowledge and should be used often...even if its just an endless string of Wikipedia articles or the latest issue of Cigar Aficionado.

b)I am a pretty big movie buff so I can be pretty picky. I like historical movies, gangster movies, westerns, and comedies, as well as few other things. Guess if I had to pick a list of them it would be Goodfellas, Unforgiven, The Big Lebowski, Braveheart, Ferris Buehler, Casino, and The Departed(guess you can tell I have a fondness for Martin Scorsese and Coen Brothers movies). I am also a huge Soprano's fan.

c) Rock, Classic Rock, Blues, GOOD Country(none of that "Pop" country you hear way too much anymore) and some occasional Bluegrass. I did grow up on a farm after all! Favorite artists would include Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Metallica, Audioslave, Smashing Pumpkins, Johnny Cash, Chris LeDoux, Gary Allan, Skynyrd, and The Beatles among others. I would call Frank Sinatra my guilty pleasure. Hard to not enjoy some occasional Frank!

d) Asian, American, Mexican, Italian. I mostly eat meat dishes since grew up on a produce farm and I still have nightmares of vegetables! So needless to say I don't eat very many of them. I'm getting better though and a few I am finally starting to come around to. I like spicy foods too.

A sport to play and watch, my iPod, some wheels, a nicely stocked bar, food, and open spaces with fresh air.

What I want to do next with my career or how long I want to stay in the Cleveland area.

Relaxing after a long week at work with a movie and a drink, or maybe going out.

I never learned to ride a bicycle! SERIOUSLY! I hated them when I was a kid. Kinda regret it now though, so if you think you can teach me I’d love for you to try! I am somewhat of a cigar aficionado despite the fact my details say I'm a non smoker. It’s more of a hobby and sporadic indulgence than full-time habit. Of course, I only bother with the good stuff when I do indulge: from Honduras, Brazil, and the Dominican Republic. NEVER those nasty flavored things from the gas station!
UPDATE! I now possess a bike, and it is a part of my ambitious new-year’s plans (see above). After years of saying it, I may finally ride more than 3 feet!

If you are an intelligent, interesting woman (preferably between 22 and 32) who enjoys conversation, music, being outside, and both the simple and finer things in life. I should also point out that if you have children this may be a problem. It isn’t that I don't want kids someday but they may not fit well with me or my current lifestyle.
