Getting through life one day at a time and trying to enjoy as much as possible and laugh a lot. My number one priority is my 2 kids (born '95 & '97). That priority keeps me on friendly terms with their mother (my someday to-be ex - it's complicated), as well as extremely busy.

I've been separated for a long time now. We still live in the same house because we get along fine as parents and we're honest with each other and the kids about our situations. It's not where I wanted to be with my life at this point, but it's where I am.

Dont' watch or care about sports. Just don't. Never have, can't imagine I ever will.

I've gotten to be a bit of a comedy nerd the past few years. Podcasting has made access to great comedy and comedians really easy. Just a short list of comedy podcasts that I listen to : Never Not Funny, Doug Loves Movies, Comedy Bang Bang, Who Charted, The Smartest Man in the World, Forty Year Old Boy, Superego. There's more. I honestly don't have enough time to listen to everything I would like to.

Lately I've been trying to catch up on the classics. I did the engineering thing in school and after middle school missed out on all that. Now my daughter has a big list to read for school and if I'm going to be any help to her I'd better at least have a more than Sparknotes knowledge of the material. Two chapters into The Jungle so far.

I rarely see movies when they first come out. I do try and catch-up on what I hear are great movies though. Recently watched The Hangover and loved it. One of my all time favorites is The Usual Suspects. Can't wait to sit down and watch that one with my kids.

I listen to just about anything, although, like movies, don't usually listen to the "latest." Love Jazz, from Miles/Parker/Monk to Glenn Miller to Esperanza Spalding. I love showtunes and Broadway ... as Greg Proops says "I'm a heterosexual male, but I make no case for it."

I don't eat a lot of red meat, or meat in general. I try (too often unsuccessfully) to eat healthy, but I'll try anything once. Not a big seafood fan, and Sushi just tastes like bait to me, but I'm open to the possibility that I just haven't had good Sushi.

I'm probably too lonely for my own good. I have a real, sincere, fear that it has been so long since I have had to "date", or get to know someone other than a coworker or acquaintance, that I'll have no idea what I'm doing and spend the rest of my life alone.
