My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm looking for new friends in Atlanta. Seriously. It is hard for me to be in a new city far away from the comfort and safety of my circle of friends back in my home town, but I am willing to try. I think the trick to this is patience and honesty. I am being very honest here.

I watch netflix and hulu mostly for TV purposes and down time. I do have a penchant for the BBC. I have a room dedicated to crafts and I do alot of them! So...just so you know... I talk to my dog and value his opinion. I am a warm, funny person who listens well, likes to dote on others and is a lot of fun out. If you are sad, I will bake you a cake and it will be so delicious that you will roll your eyes in your head but I won't have any. I'll drink a kale and spinach smoothie that is just as delicious. My personality will be the juxtaposition of many equally marvelous things that seemingly do not fit together, but they will make you happy.

I am very casual and I don't like to dress up much. I will knit you a hat or some gloves without the fingers if I like you. People bring me along to things like weddings, Mardi Gras, cruises, etc. to make sure a good time is spent by all because I am easy going, I rarely complain, and I adapt easily to almost any situation. I also dance freely and know how to make the most out of any situation. I can squeeze fun from a stone of misery.

I like the idea of being very healthy and fit. I tore the ACL out of one knee so i am not as fit as I used to be. I'll get there again though. I appreciate my health and try not to take it for granted. I am trying to find the appropriate ways to exercise now and its hard, but I'm working on it. I did a marathon in Ireland once, and that's a story worth hearing.

I love, love, love to dance:) If you want to talk about philosophy and sound all erudite and sophisticated, I'll cater to your ego.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am trying my very best to create every artistic composition in my head. I am trying to write down every fantastic story I think up. I have really marvelous ideas all of the time. I try to keep up making them true. I'm a really good mentor to teens. I take teaching seriously and differently than most people do. I hope I'm a good teacher to my students. I try to be.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Creating things, wild dancing, knitting, dog whispering, talking to teenagers, being a good friend, baking cookies and chocolate cakes, making people laugh, traveling, listening, clandestine plots against anything.

For music, lets see....Stevie Wonder, MGMT, The Shins, Arcade Fire, Kanye West, west coast electric funk, old (very old) skool rap, Of Montreal, world music, Mumford and Sons, The Smiths, The Cure, The Clash, Bowie, The Police, Arturo Sandoval, Oingo Boingo, Radiohead, Colin Hay, Earth Wind and Fire, Weather Report, Paul Simon, Dragonette, Nina Simone, Mardi Gras music, Girl Talk, Die Antwoord, Beirut, Janelle Monae, Outkast, Animal Collective, Gotye, Kimbra, Cold Play, Ladytron, Bon Iver, MC Frontalot ... I think I might like everything. No, wait. I don't like death metal or gansta rap but this is just a sampling of my preferred genres.

For movies, The Sound of Music, The Water Boy, Slumdog Millionaire, Amelie, The Triplets of Belleville, Ghost Busters, Love Actually, Billy Elliot, Gladiator, Dirty Rotten Schoundrels, Aunty Mame, almost any version of a Sherlock Holmes and alot of others I can't think of this second.

For TV, my favorite show is Parks and Recreation. I also like The Office, Grimm, Parenthood, Gavin and Stacey, Masterpiece Theater, Mystery, Downton Abbey, Adventure Time, Psych, and Midsommer Murders, lots of other stuff too.

For food, I like food. I believe every culture has delicious foods to offer. I also like plain and simple foods like raw foods.

About books, I really liked the Steig Larsson trilogy, I grew up reading Tolkein and C.S. Lewis. I also like Octavia Butler as well. I read Jonathan Strange and Mr Norris. Now I am reading about how the Irish saved Civilization...and I am also rereading Behold A Pale Horse so you know what that means...
