I am happy, energetic, and playful.

My Self-Summary

Well then...I grew up in the midwest, moved to NYC just over 9 years ago, and I live in the east village...which I love. I think I do a really good job balancing a busy career, friends, and other fun stuff. I try to take advantage of as much of this city as possible...makes my ridiculous rent worth it I suppose.

I'm really into music and going to see bands play...mostly indie rock/pop, folk rock, electronic...that kind of stuff. I live for summer outdoor music festivals. I also really like theater, but I don't do nearly as much of that as I would like to. And I get into sports...college basketball, college and pro football, and baseball.

As far as my personality is concerned...I'm pretty easy-going, usually up for anything. I like to experience new things and meet all kinds of people. I try not to take things too seriously, especially myself. I like to goof around a lot.

I like to exercise...running along the east river under the bridges, taking spin classes, and working out (not excessively). But I also like eating junk food, so it's all a wash. ;-)

What I’m doing with my life

Gathering good friends, enjoying work, learning stuff, being adventurous, and feeling good.

I’m really good at

...making mix-tapes (well, CDs I suppose)

...staying awake if there's fun stuff to do...even if I'm super sleepy

...playing ping pong (well not "really" good, but I'd beat you)

...math

...recommending the best cheeseburger spots in NYC

...hugs

...befriending animals

...reenacting scenes from "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" with my friends.

On a typical Friday night I am

Most likely hanging out with my buddies, possibly catching a band play. I prefer smaller bars and low-key restaurants to the big sceney places.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Sometimes I go commando to work to make me feel less nervous before a presentation.
