Books - Slightly dark, slightly humourous fiction, like Kurt
Vonnegut, Neil Gaiman or Terry Pratchett. Just getting into Tom
Holt and Christopher Moore.
Movies - Wes Anderson and Coen Bros. Fargo reminds me of where I
grew up...At random: Anchorman, Rango, There Will Be Blood,
Shows -The Wire, Homicide: Life on the Street, Always Sunny in
Philidelphia, Workaholics, Community (Dan's back next season!),
Arrested Development, The Larry Saunders Show, Louie, Adventure
Time, Venture Brothers, Futurama, Space Ghost: Coast to Coast, most
edgy cartoons, BBC nature documentaries, non-BBC nature
documentaries, QI, Would I Lie to You, and on, and on, and
Music - Generally something guitar based, folk or rock, but with so
much good new music these days my tastes seem to range all over the
place. Decemberists, CCR, Zeppelin, Talking Heads, Deep Dark Woods,
Doctor John, Eric Clapton, the Stones, The Beatles, Arcade fire,
Broken Bells, Daft Punk, this is hard..
I tried vegetarianism for about a year, but I couldn't give up
animal protein as easily as others seem able to be. I'm not a picky
eater. If it's food, I'll eat it. Unless is has dairy in it.
Apparently I'm now lactose-intolerant, which sucks majorly. Cheese,
how I miss you..
