My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Quick self-summary: I am a nerd.

Long self-summary:

I play Dungeons and Dragons often. Creating new characters with their own interesting back stories and building them into effective characters, watching them succeed or fail. When I am not planning out future D&D characters, dungeons, or story lines, I am usually spending time playing board games with friends, often including a bit of alcohol in the mix.

I work in technical support call center, in Pleasant Grove helping small businesses. I enjoy working there, assisting small business getting back to a place they can run the business and hopefully making it easier for them. Ultimately I help people make money, while making money.

I really enjoy astrophysics, astronomy, and physics. I will often spend time reading more about various astronomical events and objects. I've gone a few decent roadtrips just to see the stars and gaze in wonderment. Sitting with good friends and people watching the sky can bring easily help soothe most issues.

I have started going back to the gym, I could always use a new gym buddy.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Mainly I'm doing the 9-5 through the week. Typically on Friday I'm hanging at home or with friends. Saturday I'm usually using math and creativity to vanquishing evil doers in Dungeons and Dragons.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening: Considering my job is on the phone I hope I'm good at that.

Debating: I enjoy a good debate now and then, working with other techies and nerds, we tend to debate a bit. Largely who is better Batman or Superman. (Hint Batman).

Driving: My family may disagree with me here.

Reading: One of my most used skills.

Video games: For when I want to live a different life not through books.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I'm quiet and pensive. Either that or when I'm with my friends loud and pensive. It all depends on how well I know the company I am with, or how drunk I may be.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Read way too many to have a favorite. Current favorite series: Through the looking glass. John Ringo. If you include Graphic novels though, I would have to say Watchmen. I also just finished American Gods, by Neil Gaiman. I recommend everyone read that book.

Television: Doctor Who, How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, and Mythbusters, Supernatural, Game of Thrones, Archer, as well as both versions of Cosmos.

Movie: Avengers, All Mel Brooks and Monty Python films. Currently some my favorites are Full Metal Jacket, Clockwork Orange, Dr. Strangelove, and 2001.

Music: Heavy Metal mainly. I enjoy most music except for Rap and Country.

Food: I am a big fan of Barbeque.

I listen to many different podcasts, my favorites would be between: The Nerdist, The Geologic Podcast, and the Skeptics Guide to the Universe.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Books: Both fiction and Non-Fiction. Sitting down to read about string theory and the creation of the universe is just as interesting and entertaining as reading Arthur Dent's adventures.

Video Games: The extra escapism is always nice to have.

Accessible Information: I enjoy reading about nearly every subject and without accessible information, I would grow restless.

Car: The freedom having a car gives, can be nearly unexplainable.

Computers: Without them I wouldn't have a job, or the accessible information.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
A good portion of my time is spent going through the theories of string theory and how it could affect everything. For a more lighthearted topic I go through potential causes of a Zombie apocalypse and how I might survive one. Very often one of my first thoughts when I go into a new building is how to make it more defensible against zombies. All this using "The Zombie Survival Guide" as my template.

I also think of how much things would change if we developed faster than light travel. We could essentially make humanity disaster proof. We could go explore Jupiter and Saturn with ease. Titan could become a destination spot. If we could go to Titan, we could fly simply by equipping wings and flapping our arms.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Playing board or video games with friends and family.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I auditioned for the new show King of the Nerds. I did not make it, this saddens me.
