I’m a snowboarder, but I enjoy skiing a lot more. I used to ski since I was little. One day, I became tired of it and switched to snowboarding, and was moderately successful doing that. I gave away my skis and couldn’t easily do both anymore. Or so I thought – until I found an extra pair of skis in the basement (literally just right this moment).
There is really no deeper meaning in this story (unless you want to find one), but it’s the kind of true, minimalist story I might tell when I meet people here in Colorado.
Besides my liking of minimalism and skiing, I take my work seriously, I’m a bad liar and very direct (unless of course, there is a need to be nice), and I have a high appreciation for dry, sarcastic humor.
