I am warm hearted, lovable, and giggly.
My Self-Summary
I'm down-to-earth, laid back, kinda funny (I've been told), have
more common sense than intelligence (I think), giving,
compassionate, loving, loyal, faithful, caring, and taking care of
myself. Wow, lot of adjectives there. :)
Ok. To get to 80% done I need to bracket some interests, so here
goes:
reading
sci-fi/fantasy;
going out to - though usually watched at home on DVD -
movies preferably action
packed and/or sci-fi,
crafting as in
crocheting baby blankets - mostly given as gifts, some asked for,
thinking about painting some shirts;
family - well, my
son plays softball on Thursday and I go to all the games; and my
sis in law and nephews who I see every other Sunday
afternoon/evening.
sense of
humor though I guess that's not quite an interest
What I’m doing with my life
I love going to movies, but am comfortable renting and sitting /
cuddling on a couch. I love cooking and experimenting - would be
more fun with a partner. I watch my son play softball in Allen
almost every Thursday night from April through October.
I
write. I have a
website up with my poems and erotic stories. My aunt suggested I
lengthen the short stories and get them published.
In November 2008, I entered and was one of the many winners of the
NaNoWriMo contest - National Novel Writing Month - with 55,621
words of the needed 50,000 to be a winner. I've been told I should
try to get it published as well. I raced against the clock the last
2 or 3 days, and need to Flesh out the last few chapters. Yes, I'm
nervous, but both projects are goals for 2009. :)
I’m really good at
Making people smile.
The first things people usually notice about me
I think my eyes, and my genuine smile. I like to see if I can
surprise someone, anyone into smiling back.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
eagerly anticipating "next in series" by a bunch of authors
I loved David Eddings, Anne McCaffrey's Dragons of Pern, a few
dozen other authors.
Movies. I like mysteries, and magical. Yes, I loved the Harry
Potter books and movies.
Music. All kinds, tho I love Country and 80s rock. I DJ'd for an
online radio station and have a big variety of music.
Food. Big thick juicy red in the middle T-Bone steak, chicken fried
at home, Italian, Chinese. Actually, it depends on my mood. I love
to cook at home, but it's nice to go out once in a while. NOTE:
While I love steak, I rarely eat it. Chicken is rarely fried as
mentioned before, I am trying to eat healthy.
The six things I could never do without
1-People -- my son, family and friends
2-A job - gotta keep busy (and get paid)
3-My car
4-My dogs
5-Sustenance - physical and emotional
6-Health, and a healthy *** life.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
how to best describe myself so I appear interesting and fun-loving,
and desirable, and...and...
On a typical Friday night I am
contemplating my navel -- ok, that was a late 60s/early 70s
reference -- OR, watching a rented DVD, reading, hanging out with
my son, nothing's written in stone.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
heh heh
You should message me if
You don't take life too seriously and you love to laugh. I want
laugh lines, dammit! :) Yeah, I know I'm weird. :P
