My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I feel like I've got it mostly together. I'm a pretty simple guy - uncomplicated simple - not Forest Gump simple. Cash and carry, wash and wear probably describe me best. I pack light.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've worked as a paralegal in intellectual property for the last 18 years. I love my job, it's pretty challenging and fulfilling. When I'm not working, I'm usually trying to do something outdoors, either camping, canoeing or hiking. I've spent a lot of time remodeling my house, but it's never finished. I just committed to getting a passport this year and using it as much as possible.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Anything I put my mind to. Problem solving and critical thinking. Mechanical stuff.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My slightly askew sense of humor. It's not for everyone.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Anything written by Cormac McCarthy, Hunter Thompson or Hemingway. I just re-read Blood Meridian and picked up When You Are Engulfed In Flames by David Sedaris, but haven't started it yet.

I like anything well-written and directed, but that doesn't stop me from watching crap, either. I'll watch anything by the Coen Brothers and Wes Anderson.

I listen to a lot of stuff, yesterday was QOTSA, The Sword, Mastodon, Dozer, Karma to Burn, and Year Long Disaster. Today is Paul Banks, The National, TV on the Radio, Interpol, and Radiohead. And now it's Lucero, Shooter Jennings, Two Cow Garage, and The Deadstring Brothers. You'd think I have musical MPD.

Good food is important and I like to make my own. As much as I hate the terms "foodie" and gourmet, I guess I fall somewhere in between the two.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Uh, don't need much. Friends and family are important. My smart-assed back-talking mutt makes the list. I'll toss in good bourbon, good music and good food to round it out.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Whatever is on mind at the time, I don't dwell on much. Maybe wild lottery fantasies.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Winding down from the week. Usually a couple of drinks at the corner bar or by a fire in the backyard.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've always wanted to meet Bono in person and intentionally confuse him with Sting. Or vice versa.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You have the same desire to personally offend either Sting or Bono.
