My self-summary
I’m kind, honest, caring, smart as a whip, and pretty silly. I often struggle internally with my natural duality. Sometimes I feel pretentious and pedantic while other times I'm like a goofy and loving oaf. I normally balance the two out with sarcasm, good will and a desire for passionate discussions on how the undead ninjas are affecting the national political landscape.

I'm geeky and really love playing games (board, video, card, roleplaying...) preferably with others; I'm not that competitive, I like constructive shared experiences. I'm also into all bits of internet/gaming/nerd/geek culture. Though I'm not a stereotype exclusive to staying in one place. My passport has plenty of stamps on it.

I started out with a theatre background and dreams of becoming a great American playwright but have since changed to a life of games and education. I was working for a educational non-profit in LA for the past 10 years using games to teach kids. I recently moved up here to be closer to friends and to start my own non-profit (I'd generally rather be doing something whose goal is helping those other than myself.)

I'm looking for a partner. Someone to share and explore life with. Someone who I can encourage to explore the world with and will do the same with me. Someone to cuddle with. I also like to argue with people; Not angry arguing, just sharing a difference in opinions or exploring other views. I see discourse as a means to understanding the world.
What I’m doing with my life
Trying to make the world a better place. I like working towards the idea of making people happier and better without their knowledge of my doing so.

I've started my own nonprofit where I teach people how games can be used for the development of skills for education. It's cool doing a mashup of the things I love.

While not working on paperwork or trying creatively come up with stuff; I'm either playing games, arguing with my dog, or visiting with friends (and playing games with them).

I've been working on my cooking & baking skills because one cannot live of bachelor chow alone and I can't have breakfast for every... well I can but I shouldn't.
I’m really good at
Being pathologically polite, having a good humor about things, seeing things that others don't, not seeing things that others do.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm being kind, polite and sporting a beard.

The six things I could never do without
Biological necessities
Friends and Family
My dog
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Ninjas, zombies, unicorns, whether I left the stove on, the song that's currently in my head, world peace, why I'm not doing enough to make world peace, how to unmake world peace, cookies
On a typical Friday night I am
Playing games (video or board). Working. Reading like books were my drug of choice. Hanging out. Trying to teach my dog how to conduct a proper argument.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm much more serious than I make myself out to be. The world is a dark scary place that I'm unhappy with and while I try to work at making it a better place I use silliness as a survival mechanism.

I also have a pretty singing voice.
