Originally from LA, I moved up here to be closer to friends. I used to exclusively work in the nonprofit sector running awesome educational programs for kids. Now I work as an instructional designer for a large educational company . I'm happy that I get to do creative problem solving every day.
I love games; they make for an amazing constructive shared experience and I tend to geek out about them a lot. Sometimes they are engaging pieces of art from an emerging medium, other times blowing things up with friends is fun. Along with games I like the idea of helping people and making the world a better place, which is why I like to be on the non-profit side of things (or at least for now, continuing to work in education).
In general, geeky stuff kind-of defines my interests; before games I was a total theatre nerd and got my masters degree in Playwrighting. I've also done my fair share of world exploration.
I'm looking for a relationship:
"I don't want to set the world on fire, I just want to stay a flame in your heart"
I think dating is gross and honestly a bit rough because, like a true introvert I can be anxious when trying to meet new people. I really enjoy sharing a connection with someone but don't like starting and then abruptly stopping them.
I’d like to spend time with someone who is looking for a relationship, has shared geeky./nerdy interests and who wants someone that can be best described as a “partner in (or to fight) crime”.
