I enjoy movies of all kinds. I love soccer and hockey. I really like talking about all kinds of random stuff. Halloween is my favorite holiday. My favorite color is red. I'm usually pretty reserved if I am in a place where I don't know too many people or in public, but with my friends I can be quite the opposite.

I really like board games and playing cards. My favorite game is Monopoly, but I rarely get to play because no one will play it with me (surprise).

I sing in the shower.

I really like books. I like reading them and I like being around them. I love going to book stores or to libraries because there are a lot of books there.

I have a BFA in Media Arts, but I work in an Urgent Care center. I've been working in a clinical environment for almost five years, so I've decided to go to nursing school. I'm taking the accelerated BSN at Pitt, so I'll have my second degree in about a year.

I just started doing autocross, or solo II. That's basically driving a course set up with cones and trying to get the best time. It's really fun!

Two of my friends and I are starting a business. We're going to make commercial haunted houses, like the ones they have for Halloween. We've done some small ones in the past, but this year we've already started at looking to buy land and will shortly be looking for investors. It's no six figure income, but hey, we do what we love.

I like to think I'm good at playing guitar. At least good enough to get by.

Taking things apart

Improvising tools. Ex: I used a blanket, a rope, and a hula hoop to hold back a holly bush so we could paint the front porch.

I'm usually pretty good at making people laugh; or making them confused, then they laugh.

I have a really good sense of humor and I like to make people laugh. A lot of people seem to notice the tattoos on my wrist and forearm. Apparently I look a lot younger than I actually am (the lady at the liquor store today said that I look 17). I also have pretty good manners.

I just read House of Leaves, I'm really into mystery (Sherlock Holmes, Alfred Hitchcock) and science fiction. I like most movies except those "teen movie" ones. Those are annoying. In movies, I look for a good story first, then good cinematography. Unless its a kung-fu movie, I'll watch almost any kung-fu movie even the terrible 80's ones. I really like horror movies, too. I like most music except mainstream rap and pop. I don't particularly care for country, but it can be OK sometimes. I really like jazz and funk.

I like food of all kinds, especially Mexican and Greek. I love sushi!

A lot of times I'm not actually thinking about anything, but music will be playing in my head and I start drumming on things with my fingers or whatever I happen to be holding in my hands at the time.

If I'm not at work, I like to hang out with friends. Doesn't really matter where. I like to go to bars and watch hockey. I like to go driving. Not to anywhere, just drive around on the winding back roads.

I talk to myself. It helps me cogitate. Other times I think of something really good to say and there's no one around, but I say it out loud anyway because it was that good.
