My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
new to atlanta after being the the upstate NY area 2011-2014 for anesthesia residency. came down here with 2 cats, the younger of whom (Rosie) I adopted this past spring and the older (molly) who has been with me since I was an intern in PA.
Went to college in baltimore and grew up in the DC area. Nice places all, made many friends along the way.

Suggested by friends that I set up a profile, as bar hopping not as feasible with my busier schedule.

Reading: Miller's Anesthesia; Faust et al, Anesthesia review; Yao & Artusio's Anesthsiology. If you don't know what those are, I'm probably going to bore you. A lot.

I also like reading history (particularly military history; specifically Russians versus Germans round II [1941-1945] and Chinese military history). I do a lot of reading. When I'm not keeping my cats from killing each other.

Haven't seen much in the way of movies, except for youTube videos of fainting goats and cats doing silly feline things.

I like to make fried rice, dumplings, and eat out.
I love using semicolons in my medical charts.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
-glasses (for reading, intubating, extubating, finding my drugs, checking machines, seeing things in general)
-Sun Zi's Art of War
-my cats, Molly and rosie (they're pretty inseparable)

-Post it notes
-mom's dumpling recipes
-ball point pen, the kind that deploys with a click (None of this business with pulling caps off to write).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
passing my boards.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
-eating out with friends at some local watering hole
-reading in between bouts of pushing my cat off my book
-throwing paper balls at my cat and watching her do flips

-on call and doing none of the above
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
