I'm generally laid back but when I'm intent on a task, I forget about the world around me at times. I like to think I've got a good sense of humor. Then again, people without one usually think that too. I generally try to do right by other people.
I am outgoing, garrulous, and calm

I'm not looking for a Playmate type woman. While physical attraction is nice, I'm looking more for someone to hang out with, someone who can enjoy my interests and willing to share their interests with me. Sakes, I might even get to liking it! Someone I can just sit next to and enjoy their company, even if we don't say anything. Playing cards in the kitchen into the evening.

I don't really need a pen pal. I rather enjoy driving but would like to find someone close enough that I'm not worn out just from driving to meet them.

Now, I do have a job. It keeps me busy and I can't just take off. While I like to do things on the spur of the moment, I took the job on and will do it. Sorry, but if you want someone that can just head up on a moments notice, I can't do that.

I'm living it. I rather enjoy helping other people less fortunate than myself. I've been a volunteer police officer, charity mechanic and I like to inject a little humor into daily life. My great shame is being in Mensa.

Making an impression. I can generally get anyone to crack a grin. When I play Santa, I make sure to find out why the child is in the hospital before I get them laughing too hard. Stitches you know.

I'd like to open a restaurant (but not work there) to show folks how food ought to taste. McDonalds would have to watch out then.

Marx Brothers movies, Jeff Dunham, any kind of music except rap, and I make one mean hamburger.

At least one shower a day. (I can't sleep for feeling all ooky if I can't get one a day at least.)

Friends

I write fiction in my head a lot, however, I think so fast and type so slow, it rarely gets on paper in a coherent manner. Mechanical design, cosmic theory, and anything else that pops into my head.

Home. I usually turn in early.

You can tolerate a sense of humor that is....um....eccentric at times. I do not smoke or use intoxicants of any kind. If you have the same outlook, then by all means write me. I try not to judge others but I don't go in for self destructive behavior. Also, if you're looking for a relationship besides pen pals and phone a friends. Also, you need to be able to handle my fumbling at times. I recently left an 18 year relationship and seem to have forgot how to talk to women I'm interested in.
