My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Wow. OK. How does one define themselves? Geez...I would say I'm ambitious but reasonable. I want to succeed but not at all costs. I set the bar high for myself and others. Which can invariably lead to disappointment. I want to believe that people are inherently good, some see that as naive, but I truly think people can surprise you. I think my perfect match would be someone who's optimistic but not blindingly so. Someone who likes nice things but doesn't demand them. A person who enjoys the little things, as cliche as that might very well sound. By little things I mean, awkward silences, when laughter becomes a snort, reading the newspaper on a sunday morning over breakfast. Someone flexible, caring and patient. Someone who sees potential in things and doesn't automatically pass judgement. Someone who listens and really wants to communicate, not just talk. Also I love animals, dogs in particular so they would have to be down with that too. I'm a bit of a pop culture junky. I love Movies, TV, Music, Books, etc. Music is a big part of my life and I go to a lot of concerts. I'm a writer so I spend way too much time letting my imagination run away with for instance right now as I write this self summary. I mean seriously is there anything harder than looking inwards and trying to sum yourself up in a couple of sentences? In short, I'm funny, loyal, creative, playful and a pleasure to be least that's what people tell me...unless they're lying...they wouldn't lie right?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
After going to film school in Toronto and languishing in the non-existant film industry in Canada...yes they have a film festival but no they don't really make many movies...I moved to Los Angeles to work at a talent agency to learn the business side of the entertainment industry which I did for a while as an assistant before I co-created the show Sleepy Hollow officially making myself a working TV writer! As crazy as it seems, dreams do sometimes actually come true in Hollywood.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Reading into Radiohead lyrics and imaging what the world would be like if the Bartlett administration existed. I'm also a good listener which hopefully makes me a better writer and a good friend.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My sarcasm and then probably my kindness and genuine interest in what other people have to say.

On a typical Friday night I am

The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I might have had to wear headgear to school over my Jew-fro in Junior High.
