My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
IT humor... :)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working hard, playing even harder.

I moved here to work for awesome tech companies (official version).. and to explore this amazing area (the ulterior motive :) ).

I like to stay active. My primary hobby is rock climbing and I do it at least 3 times a week... and every time I see a suitable rock. I find it extremely fun to be in or on the water. I like playing logical and strategy games, solving puzzles, and even occasional TV watching with good company is enjoyable.

Traveling is probably the most frequent interest you can see on this site; I like it too. Have been to about 20 countries on four continents so far, trying to catch up with my friends 40+ destinations.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I hate writing long lists... but modesty is definitely somewhere on it :-)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My height - I might actually be 6'1'' :)
My accent. Some confuse it with German a lot.
Also, I'm really enthusiastic; energetic even as my friend said (several tried to find out if I'm on Duracell..)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Well, technically I can do without most of the stuff except food, water and air, but it is nice to have, right?

In order of importance:
* Family
* Friends
* Having fun (activities included)
* Internet

Yep, just four, I'm deviant like that.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to create a spam filter for my mail? Maybe embed shredder into the mailbox?..
What activity/project/country to try next? (So far it's paragliding/secret/Norway)
Whether you would reply to my next message?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Same as on any other night. No night is special! Or rather all of them are :)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have an account on a dating site... Shhh, don't tell anybody!
Oh, you knew that already :)

Btw, have you noticed a paradox? Any private thing posted here will immediately become public. And hence you can't really post anything private. It's a trap!
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Yes, I know a lot of women think men should take the first step. Or that messaging first is somehow makes them look bad. Or that men should chase them and not the other way.. And then they all complain they are getting hundreds of "spam" messages and it's impossible to find ones that actually matters. Unfortunately that's how online world is. So here is my recommendation: if you like someone - message them :-)

That does not mean I'm not going to message anyone, but my message will probably get buried under hundreds of other messages and will never be read. So I'm much more likely to message someone, if we showed mutual interest before that (e.g. liked each other).

Here is a short list of what I'm looking for, based on the previous experiences on this site:

* You don't smoke.

* You don't drink excessively.

* You have a good sense of humor (black belt in sarcasm is optional).

* You are well educated (or working on it), ambitious and have some goal(s) ahead of you. That includes ability to spell properly :)

- or -

* You have a great music station recommendation for pandora
