I do not need to have someone with me but there are times when you just want to share the little discoveries of the day with someone. To hear another perspective or to see the light in another person's eye when something touches them. I do not need it but I want it. It just makes every day a bit more magical.
I do look like my photos of myself. I do take care of myself physically and get to the gym or some activity on a regular basis. I even ride my bike to work when the weather allows which is a round trip of 20 miles. You will not find me looking 20 pounds heavier than these photos if we do meet.
I am looking for someone who is kind, non-confrontational and who loves to laugh. I want a relationship where both people care for one another and where there is concern for one another on all levels. Like Billy Crystal says in "When Harry Met Sally", "You are the last person I want to see before going to bed at night". I want to mean something to someone. And there should be passion. I guess a lot of people have a shopping list for the type of person they want to meet. I am not sure that we always meet the person we have in our head but I feel we should be open to that spark that occurs out of the blue and totally unscripted. The core of that person should have a passion for life, integrity, a kind heart and take care of himself physically. And please have an open heart. One that is willing to live and take that chance to experience life fully! There is so much to life, do not deny it but embrace it fully with open arms and heart!
I am also looking for any photography buffs out there. I am teaching myself photography and I would love to learn more from people who actually do it. I have so much to learn!!! I am a very likeable person so you have nothing to fear. I have this ability to get along with all types of people and generate a feeling of trust. Maybe because I have such an interest in people and their stories and this makes them feel comfortable. So contact me if any of you know of photography meet ups in the Chicago area.
I have a strong imagination. I still read fairy tales from Hans Christian Anderson at night under a banana moon and do not feel the least bit too grown up to do so. A mother once asked Albert Einstein what books her son should be reading as he was interested in science. Einstein thought for a moment and replied "fairy tales". The mother repeated the question and stressed the science in her son's studies and he repeated fairy tales again and told her that fairy tales build a strong imagination and teach morals and this is needed in science and works beautifully in discovery. I can't argue with that. I love the movie "Wings of Desire" and I believe it to have possibilities. And why not? There is magic everywhere and at this point I am rediscovering it. I have a strong logical side as well and I have a curious ability to use both sides of my brain well. On the menu is working to create magic in my photography. I love the creativity that exists with the camera and have been delving into photoshop.
