Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am not a modern person nor an old-fashioned one but something in
between of it's own making and style that is without a label. At
this time, I look for the adventures in life. It doesn't have to be
a huge adventure all the time, even the quiet and subdued times
have plenty of adventures in them. I am into living a life and not
letting life to roll on by.
I do not need to have someone with me but there are times when you
just want to share the little discoveries of the day with someone.
To hear another perspective or to see the light in another person's
eye when something touches them. It just brings depth and warmth
into the day.
I do look like my photos of myself. People recognize me immediately
from my photo. I do take care of myself physically and get to the
gym or some activity on a regular basis. I am fortunate to look
younger than my actual age. I think the key is living right and
keeping the weight in check along with sweet potatoes. It is that
beta-carotene in the sweet potato that is great for skin. You will
not find me looking 20 pounds heavier than these photos if we do
I am looking for someone who is kind, non-confrontational and
appreciates humor. I want a relationship where both people care for
one another and where there is concern for one another on all
levels. Like Billy Crystal says in "When Harry Met Sally", "You are
the last person I want to see before going to bed at night". I want
to mean something to someone. And there should be passion. I guess
a lot of people have a shopping list for the type of person they
want to meet. I am not sure that we always meet the person we have
in our head but I feel we should be open to that spark that occurs
out of the blue and is totally unscripted. The core of that person
should have a passion for life, integrity, a kind heart and take
care of himself physically. And please have an open heart. One that
is willing to live and take that chance to experience life fully!
There is so much to life and still so much to discover.
I am also looking for any photography buffs out there. I am
teaching myself photography and I would love to learn more from
people who actually do it. I have so much to learn!!! I am a very
likeable person so you have nothing to fear. I have this ability to
get along with all types of people and generate a feeling of trust.
Maybe because I have such an interest in people and their stories
and this makes them feel comfortable. So contact me if any of you
know of photography meet ups in the Chicago area.
I have a strong imagination. I still read fairy tales from Hans
Christian Anderson at night under a banana moon and do not feel the
least bit too grown up to do so. A mother once asked Albert
Einstein what books her son should be reading as he was interested
in science. Einstein thought for a moment and replied "fairy
tales". The mother repeated the question and stressed the science
in her son's studies and he repeated fairy tales again and told her
that fairy tales build a strong imagination and teach morals and
this is needed in science and works beautifully in discovery. I
can't argue with that. I love the movie "Wings of Desire" and I
believe it to have possibilities. And why not? There is magic
everywhere and at this point I am rediscovering it. I have a strong
logical side as well and I have a curious ability to use both sides
of my brain well. On the menu now is working to create magic in my
photography. I love the creativity that exists with the camera and
that it makes me look at things differently.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am a constant learner. Whether it is reading a new author, a new
technique on photoshop, new ideas, a new knitting skill, I am ready
to learn it. I do not want to stagnate. I would like to travel
more. I went to Greece in September of 2012 and it was a great
adventure. I like traveling to soak up the culture and get a sense
of the stories of the people that live there.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Using the two sides of my brain.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes and my laugh. A Cameron Diaz sort of laugh I have been
told. Great skin and hair.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A star-filled night.
A blank SanDisk card waiting to be filled with my camera.
A banana Moon to hang my dreams on.
A head filled with quirky ideas.
Romance and daring each day to hold the promise of even more.
Watching "Breakfast at Tiffany's" for the millionth time and
hearing Audrey sing "Moon River".
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why this one cat was named Mouse.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Waiting for a flash of inspiration to do something most fun! Want
to join me?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I had a director once in college who loved to tease me and tell me
that he had another "dumb blonde" role coming up just for me. When
I started to feel bad about this so-called typecasting thing, he
told me his fav actresses were Judy Holliday and Jean Arthur. Great
company if you ask me.

If you are seriously looking for someone to meet and not looking
for an endless email relationship. I understand how emails are good
initially but I will not continue them indefinitely and give out
personal information in them. Meeting in person is the best way to
gauge any chemistry. If you have integrity and a passion for life,
and feel the world is better shared by two, message me.
