My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Let's not waste time perusing the online dating sites as we "window shop" for the perfect fit online, judging people based on their grammatical proficiencies, their physical prowess, and their ability to be completely and utterly FAKE. It's a silly expectation, and one that really is unattainable.

Thus, I simply am a human being, striving every day to be Awakened, to move forward along my Path, and to have positive interactions with those around me. Everyone has a story to tell. What's yours?

Everything is impermanent. Nothing is guaranteed. Nothing is certain. And this is strangely, profoundly comforting to me.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
-I'm working on building my own PC. I plan on using it for gaming. I've been slacking on gaming due to my current rig not providing me with the specs that I want (basically, it's old), and I figure that building my own is a very personal project and something I can find joy in. I'm excited about this adventure.

-I'm currently finishing up my first book. I plan on self-publishing in eBook format. I'm excited about it.

I'm also:
-studying the effects of mass media on our society and writing about it
-looking beyond the veil
-I quit my "profession" after too much struggling and heartache to make it work and finally landed an amazing job out here
-being a compassionate human being
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Talking. Laughing. Enjoying every moment of being alive, fully present and aware in the moment.

I've been told I'm a great writer. I haven't been able to determine if it's just my friends telling me this to make me feel better, or if there is some semblance of truth in this statement.

Also, I love to sing. You'll probably never know it, though because I'm sort of shy when it comes to that. But once you get to know me, rest assured I'll sing my heart out!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My high-spirited energy.
Or maybe that I'm short and hobbit-sized. Don't be fooled, though! Appearances can be deceiving.

Quotes:
~"A new idea is first condemned as ridiculous and then dismissed as trivial, until finally, it becomes what everybody knows." -William James

~"A dog is not considered a good dog because he is a good barker. A man is not considered a good man because he is a good talker." -Buddha

I prefer to save the books/movies/TV/music conversations for when we actually meet in person. It seems that much more interesting *and* it allows you to not judge me based on my hipster taste in music, my eccentric taste in books, nor my fascination with Scifi. :)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
-a good book
-music (it moves and inspires me)
-laugher (never take ourselves too seriously, eh?)
-a kind word from a friend or stranger
-my iPhone (sadly)
-meditation

Of course, I could live without most of these, but having them makes life much more enjoyable!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Meditation.
Enlightenment.
Manifestation.
Conjuration.
And many other things that end in "tion."
Love, and polarity of that.
The human condition and why so many people guard their hearts like a fortress.

Is the mass media and social media making us less connected to one another, even though we can reach out across thousands of miles in an instant? Is it desensitizing us from real, physical human interaction? Is it making us daft?

And on that note, I spend a lot of time wondering if we have truly become such an instant-gratification society that our relationship cultivations have become non-existent.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Right now on Fridays I work, however that is due to change here soon. So, anything will be possible on my Fridays! I usually chill, though. Read a good book, play some video games, hang with the cats, or try to find something adventurous to do. I'm really quite introverted, so I prefer to hang with my cats or select close-nit group of friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
