My self-summary

I don't like my middle name.

Since childhood, I have had an irrational fear of marching bands.

My Grandmother used to call me "Bibs" when I was a kid, and I am still not certain why.

For some reason, I derive a certain sense of shallow satisfaction from this site describing me as "capitalistic."

TURNONS- Any reference to the current administration which includes the words "criminally insane," getting caught red-handed but it's worth it, not going to church, the Chicago White Sox.

TURNOFFS- White people who adopt non-white culture and think they "get it" (i.e. Richard Gere), people who never missed an episode of 'Friends,' The Da Vinci Code Cult, Oprah, the Chicago Cubs. Did I mention Richard Gere?

What I’m doing with my life
I got this degree, it pays the bills. I write this poetry, it doesn't pay the bills.
I’m really good at
Filling out questionaires about what I am good at. So do I get the job or what?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
a.) NOVELS: Dostoyevsky, Camus, anything written by anyone who has been dead for at least 50 years. POETS(dead): Blake, Yeats, Cummings. POETS(living): Jeffrey McDaniel, Lucy Anderton, Aaron Fagan, b.) The Royal Tenenbaums, The Big Lebowski, David Lynch, anything Star Wars. Yes, Revenge of the Sith did indeed rock! c.) Tool, Radiohead, Soul Coughing, Sonic Youth, VU, Pixies, Old Bowie, Talking Heads, Arcade Fire, 80's punk, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah!, weird stuff like Coil & Nurse With Wound (only let's not meet if that's the only thing we have to talk about, OK?), Psychic TV, laughably pretentious prog, Rock Star Club (local legends, at least in their own minds). I will give anything you listen to a try, with the exception of that whole Phish/Dead thing. d.) the smoked philly roll at Bob San. Mmmmmmmm!
The six things I could never do without
1.) The first Velvet Underground album, 2.) oxygen, 3.) the rest of the Velvet Underground albums, 4.) calling Bush "President Dickweed," 5.) my Treo (formerly "my pen"), 6.) Chicago
I spend a lot of time thinking about
something which I should have thought about 2 weeks ago but didn't, thus leaving me very little time to figure out how the hell I am going to handle the situation now that I am 2 weeks behind on it.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm the biggest geek you'll ever meet in your life. If you search my laundry hamper, you're bound to find a "Lucas is God" T-shirt in there somewhere, and I still think it's appropriate to prominently display the Boba Fett action figure I've had since grade school in the middle of my living room. Also, my nickname is Maggot X. And I killed JFK.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 30–80
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
you have completed the required paperwork, including (but not limited to) Form 10798-a, Form 7744EL, Form AA9904, and you have had all your shots. It probably wouldn't hurt if you had a pretty weird sense of humor, and an active imagination. Likewise, it could prove helpful if you were to be a fairly hyperactive, motor-mouthed individual who could keep up with the "blah blah blah" likes of me. Additionally, I am under the impression that we would get along just swell if you were the type of person who friends sometimes describe as "cynical," or even downright "jaded." Of course, they only say that because they aren't quite as clever as you & me, so they don't see the humor.

Please please please no racists, homophobes, or bipolar women who refuse to take their medications (I have found all 3 thru this wonderful site). I don't mind bipolar, just take the damn meds!
