Since I do have an extensive experience working with people diagnosed with developmental disabilities and mental illness, I've developed a great deal of patience, understanding, and compassion. I've become a very good listener and truly interested in what people have to say.

I am very meticulous about having a clean and organized environment, albeit not to the point of obsession.

I've cooked since I was a young child. I grew up watching Julia Child and Justin Wilson. Gosh, does that really show my age??? My first job was to assist people with mental illness in developing their cooking skills. We had a great time together. My coworkers seem to enjoy my food, when we have our monthly potlucks. No one has passed out so far. Thank God!

Chinese and Indian are my favorite types of cuisine. I'm always willing to try new things.
