My Self-Summary
I begrudgingly graduated from law school in 2006. Right after I
graduated I moved back to my hometown of Flint, MI to take a job as
the executive of a non-profit. The non-profit provided mediation
services to the local courts and community - so I got to see all
kinds of disputes ranging from family/divorce, truancy, small
claims and probate matters. Overall it was a great experience and
huge learning lesson to be in charge of a staff. Ultimately I was
ready to get out of Flint, so when a job opportunity in Chicago
opened up I took it! So here I am - I've been here since last
summer and still don't feel quite settled in.
