I am funny, something, and something!.

My Self-Summary

Oh boy. I hate these things. My self-summary? Um, well I'm in my mid-twenties and I'm trying to get things figured out. But isn't that what we're all doing?

But, I'm a huge hockey fan. I have season tickets to the Hershey Bears. I follow the Capitals in the NHL. I also play in a local mens league. I went to school for history, but I don't use it. I studied the usual stuff in school, like World War II, since they didn't offer many classes on what I really love: English history. I also have a minor in poly sci, which I should have gone into in the first place. I know a little about a lot of things, which helps me when trivia nights come around. I like traveling, which I don't get to do a lot of anymore. One of the things that makes me the happiest is finding a road I've never been on before and getting lost on it. I've recently rediscovered how much I love camping even though I hated it as a kid. I'll take the woods over the beach any day of the week. I love being places I've never been to before. I've been in several bands and recorded a few albums but never got past playing local shows, but I still had a blast doing it. Hrm. I guess I do some of the standard guy stuff, television and video games and the like. I tend to get really into television dramas, such as Battlestar Galactica, Sopranos, and The Tudors. But I also like more lighthearted stuff like The Office. I love music, and I'm a sucker for romantic lyrics.

What I’m doing with my life

Well, I work the standard 40 hour week. When I'm not doing that, I'm probably playing hockey. I'm contemplating going back to school to become certified to teach. Other than that, mostly hanging out at my apartment watching tv or just relaxing.

I’m really good at

I'm not great at any one thing, but I'm moderately skilled at a wide range...

How that's for a wishy-washy answer? Charlie Brown would be proud..

The first things people usually notice about me

I'm pretty tall. My laugh is pretty memorable.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: I tend to read really geeky sci-fi books. Right now I'm in the process of reading two series: Asimov's Foundation novels and Reynolds' Revelation Space series.

Movies: I like either really stupid comedies (Wet Hot American Summer) or sci-fi stuff.

Music: I love music. I'd say my favorite band is probably The Get Up Kids. I'm a big fan of music from that era & genre (The Promise Ring, Texas is the Reason, Braid, Mineral, The Anniversary) also like some of the newer indie/punk bands (Brand New, Glassjaw, Every Time I Die, Thrice).

Food: All types really.

The six things I could never do without

Lets get the standards out of the way: Friends, Family...

Electronic things I'm dependent on: Computer, iPod..

Sports: Hockey, playing Hockey

Others: Music.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

things I should be actually doing, not thinking about doing.

On a typical Friday night I am

Out with friends.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm super shy when it comes to girls. I'm horrible at reading signals.

Guess that's why I haven't had a real relationship in over 2 years.

You should message me if

You're reading this saying, "I should message this guy."
