I'm co-author of Winona LaDuke's new book, The Militarization of Indian Country.
I post on line as BlogoliticalSean
I'm a former chief of staff in the Oregon Senate.
I led the Senate workgroup that created Oregon's landmark child abduction statute, Senate Bill 1041 (2005), which became known as Aaron's Law after my late son Aaron Cruz, who died earlier that year in the course of his abduction.
My four children disappeared into Utah in 1996 in a Mormon shunning/abduction.
Any woman interested in me is going to need to understand these facts before going any further.
You can find out much about me by searching on these terms. My life became an open book when my children were kidnapped.
Don't contact me if you haven't checked me out first. That would be a waste of both our time.
The great gift that my mother left me was to not let anything make me angry and bitter. She was an enormously wonderful role model, kept her sense of humor to the end.
I love to laugh, and people say I'm pretty funny. I need to balance the pain with work on issues I care about, which brings me into contact with a lot of great people, doing wonderful things with their lives.
You need to be like that, doing something wonderful with your life.
I'll welcome hearing from you.
