I was raised on a tropical island and moved to Montreal last August. Before this I lived in BC. Since then I've been in a photography program (which I'm not returning to) and working with students with disabilities. I'm also working up the courage to go on stage and do things.
My friends say I do a lot of "stuff". I've been working on some documentary photo projects (http://www.behance.net/shayrh), occasionally volunteering. My friend and I started a writing group based on the Hemingway quote "Write drunk, edit sober". Our first meeting was a success and I woke up half in my bed covered in little pieces of papers with prompts on them.
I can't really tell you what my sexual orientation is or what type of relationships I prefer (good ones? honest healthy ones?).
I've found I can hold a conversation about David Bowie's codpiece from the labyrinth just about too long for comfort. On another note, I do like Wes Anderson (I'm sure you guessed), Miranda July also comes to mind, documentaries
Mountain Goats, Otis Redding, Leonard Cohen, The National, Pixies, Regina Spektor, Magnetic Fields, Beirut, Sleeping Bag, Soft Moon, The Cure, Andrew Jackson Jihad...I'll listen to what you ask me to listen to.

You're OK with the fact that I am seeing someone.
You want to be silly together, make food together, drink wine, write, dance, preform, make art.
I have a strong belief system. So keep in mind that we aren't going to get along if you're even the slightest racist, homophobic, transphobic or sexist.
