I'm doing my thing. Caring for my parents to feel loved and valued for who they've been in this world. Trying to see them out with the same awe they hopefully felt when I wrapped my little hand around their big fingers. Things have changed a bit. Let go of moms hand recently and have a solid sense of completion and joy for all that was.
I am mostly looking for friends and interesting conversations but most folks don't really go for that sort of thing on here so I'm cool w the occasional connection.
I do somatic bodywork for a living. I study life and different ideas of what makes it better for me.
I'm interested in off the beaten path ideas and things people do So anything like, you train dogs to find mushrooms or have an open relationship but struggle w jealousy is good conversation to me.
“I believe in God, but not as one thing, not as an old man in the sky. I believe that what people call God is something in all of us. I believe that what Jesus and Mohammed and Buddha and all the rest said was right. It's just that the translations have gone wrong.”
― John Lennon
Don't Take Anything Personally. Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won't be the victim of needless suffering.
-- Miguel Ruiz
Often people attempt to live their lives backwards; they try to make more things, or more money, in order to do more of what they want, so they will be happier. The way it actually works is in reverse. You must first be who you really are, then do what you need to do, in order to have what you want.
