What I’m doing with my life

I'm currently a receptionist. I get to answer phones and knock about on facebook all day.
I claim that I'm saving money to bugger off travelling next year although so far I don't appear to be any more out of debt that I was before I started making such claims.
I'm trying to teach myself how to cook and I'm reading a lovely book about Victorian London.

I like to think of myself as a Jack of All Trades, Master of none.

The first things people usually notice about me

My ridiculous hair. I often get called Cruella DeVil which I suppose isn't entirely wrong as I do like both Dalmations and fur...

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I like non fiction books and am fond of those "Introduction to..." books to get an overview on lots of subjects. I've also recently had my first foray into Haruki Marakumi which was a very positive one (and a good few years later than everyone else, I know).

I like food from all over the world, but especially Japanese and Thai.

I like a cross section of most kinds of music, but NOT reggae or jazz. I have time for all other genres beside those. I enjoy things ranging from Vivaldi to McLusky. The Knife are my most favouritest band in the world.

The six things I could never do without

Nutrition, movement, sensitivity, respiration, excretion, reproduction.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

human mortality and the enormity of the universe.

On a typical Friday night I am

either out drinking with people from work about Soho or at home watching a documentary about those kids who lost their skin, or the really old siamese twins or something.
