I do my own stunts.

I work, I grow things, I cook, I study, I make time for the people I care about, and in between all that I try to find the time to surf, hike, and explore nature and cool places in and out of my adopted town. That probably wasn't a real sentence but it felt right.

A list of music I like would take up volumes. That said, I'm on a bit of an Everly Brothers kick right now. Walkmen too. Also Brazilian and Jamaican stuff from the 60's and 70's, Father John Misty, Lou Harrison, Neil Young, Battles.

Food=important. I like food a lot. I'm a pretty good cook and I enjoy it too! You too? My default going-out-to-get-food is Asian cuisine, I love it and I'm somewhat noodle obsessed at the moment.

My favorite movie is Performance. I like a lot of pretentious foreign films, documentaries, etc. Yet I will always laugh at Anchorman and when I go to a movie theater I sometimes like to see big, dumb Hollywood action movies where stuff is flying all over the screen. They're ridiculous, I enjoy them and the next day I've forgotten them entirely. I'm not much of a TV guy, but I'd probably watch some with you.

Honesty is really important to me. So is humor.

I like women who have cool, feminine style and are nice to kids and old people. Kindness. Grace. Warmth. You know, the classics.

I tend to be drawn to people who are enthusiastically pursuing something they are passionate about. Basket weaving, civil war re-enactment, I don't care as long as the stoke is there.

I'm not interested in people who say they're bored, discussing events from some television show as if they really happened, or hearing about how great New York supposedly is.

Fair warning: If you seem attractive, cool, and relatively sane, I will probably suggest meeting sooner than later to see if there is any chemistry in real life. I'm not interested in prolonged internet chit-chat with someone I've not met. Oddly, I'm here with the aim of spending less time in front of my computer, not more. I'm hoping you feel the same way!
